  • yall got any biscuits for sale in therr

  • he is stupid but cool

  • What kind of guitar is that? Also , what microphone is she using?

  • You can't change the head or the cab with sans amp

  • HE KILLED THE GUITAR AT THE END

  • @Vortex4001 You got that right!

  • Can you please tell me if a L2000 samson mixer (20 ch) will work as well as the M-Audio projectmix mixer for recording? Im planning to buy the samson for recording and performing, but I need to know if it will give me good quiality for recording as well. What do you reccomend?

  • Hi...do you know by any chance..where i cud get some lessons on how to use Pro tools..becuz i used to use fl studio..but i wanna move onto something more professional..

  • i always loved that protools dvd! it taught me the basics

  • What microphone are you using for vocals? Are you running the guitar straight into the mixer or are you micing an amp?

  • no mention of beat detective?

  • AWESOME VIDEO!!!

  • When the woman is singing i notice she had some headphones what are those used for??

  • @demilovatosingsx She is using headphones so that she can hear the music and her voice while she sings.

  • @demilovatosingsx you don't want the background instrumentals to leak into the vocal recording for later - you'll be doing things like EQ and compression - if ANY of the instrumentals are in there, when you EQ and compress the vocal (among other things) that'll also affect the bleed from the instrumentals, creating odd effects.

  • @demilovatosingsx In a Studio you record each instrument separately. She wears headphones to avoid the instrumental track being recorded too.

If you record every track separately, the edition on the vocal track won't affect the rest of the instruments.

If you record all at one and you realize that the guitar was recorded low, you can't change it.

  • @Lgw1984 not so true, if you recorded via firewire you can raise the guitars volume and gain., even if it was recorded low.

  • @demilovatosingsx

She uses Headphones because she needs to have the instrumental reference. If you put the instrumental reference through typical speakers the microphone would record the vocals and the sound coming from the speakers so you would not be able to treat the audio separately.

When you record, the ideal situation is one or more tracks for each instrument. The only instrument that breaks the rules is a drumkit, because you play all the drumkit in one take (Kick, snare, Hi hats...)

  • @demilovatosingsx Recording mic like conderser mic is so sensetive that you can not use any other monitoring device except headphone a close type would be better, otherwise you will only have feedback.

  • Of all the great distortion guitar sounds....he had to choose the superclean?...wtf

    XD

  • nice voice

  • i didn't understand why you were recording the same vocals over again. i can see to get the best take, but were you dubbing them over each other also(i meant just one vocal part, not the vocals and the harmony together)

  • It's always good to record a couple passes of lead vocals, so we have a variety of choices for each line. Its common in production to double the background parts.

  • i understand multiple recording to find the one that is the best, i just wasn't just if that's what you were doing or not

  • @MrBrandonPeoples wen u double ur vocals they come out better

  • @MrBrandonPeoples Theres nothing wrong with dubbing, check out nirvana - nevermind. That whole cd is vocal dubbed and it was success! just makes it more brighter and full

  • hey does pro tools includes the guitar effects like hendrix and stuff.... and the drum patterns???

  • New versions of Pro Tools include this plugin. The name of this plugin is SansAmp. The SanAmp plugin includes guitar effects like Hendrix and many others.
