I love this trick. I was at a muay thai seminar with a Thai guy named keiwsongsang ( I think that's how you spell it) and he showed it to me, and spun me around like twice. And don't forget that this guy might have been around half my weight!!
Yeah this is good little trick their. but luke surely you would move in on that block to push him off balance and attack not just take a strike in the shin.
I think it boils down to movement. Once you fully understand movement, technique can be applied to any situation because you are moving rather than thinking. Jin at Chinaboxer discusses this practice and after watching the vid I understand his idea of it. When I train for movement somehow I have the ability to look at it in an entirely different light. I dunno if that makes sense to anyone else but it does to me...lol. You should just change your name to Murderface Holloway Luke..lol. Take care!
nice tricks, but I know with your beast strength you would flatten the trainer no offence to him lol raw power alone is not so dangerous, raw brutal power with technique behind it is very dangerous and from studying your videos I would hate to see you angry it would be some Jason Borne reflex shit
Thats a setup for a block takedown ... if you know you're against a muay thai guy or someone who would block that way it'll work the first time , awesome to know ... Great Job Luke.
Nice tricks, but how would you be able to grab it with a full speed kick and a full speed block, you gotta practice alot to get this move done, am i right?
@thisnameisawesomeful no, you're completely wrong.. you take the 'right' pill from Morphius and you'll never have to train again! you can just sit on your arse, watch my youtube videos and become HARD AS FUCK! LOL
@TeamWuJin Kinda makes me think of something my savate instructor showed us. He was talking about how many people train in Muay Thai these days. But instead of hooking the leg and using it more as a sweep. He moved the leg to sidekick the knee. Hard to describe but devastating in practice.
Haha
