  • Traveling to Canada since 1990 to visit relatives in Ottawa and Mississagua, we witness the system is geared for preventative and controlling chronic disease. Yes, people do come here for emergency procedures or elective surgery. Canada does use more supportive natural alternatives openly but like many USA main stream treatments, do not always include all the arsenal of healing options. Some Canadians reject holistic as unacceptable to their own loss...surgery is quicker and sounds better.

  • This idiot is a liar. IGNORE THIS JERK

  • Laugable vid with the scew wanted by the maker. Oh well I do know that if any government in Canada ran on ending Universal Health Care here they would be lucky to 5% of the vote. So as with any system not everyone here likes, it but the vast majority do.

  • @AboveBelowBetween Don't waste your time on bigbad idiot. He likes to use his 'one' story about his imaginary friend with a burst appendix. YOu would think if it was true that every Canadian whose had a burst appendix would be dead right now, yet they're all alive. Hmmm. He also likes to cherry pick the Williams story, while forgetting about the predicted 6 million Americans going to other countries for affordable care this year, including Canada. He's a troll to be ignored.

  • Again, why are you two arguing over an outdated video? Health reform already passed so unless you just like annoying your co-workers by wasting time with meaningless arguments, I don't see what either of you are looking to accomplish here.

  • @videogeek27 Health care reform is a gift to the insurance industry and the only way for the United States to achieve health care in line with the rest of the industrialized world is to eliminate your parasitic insurance companies, as Canada and most industrialized nations have done. Having a universal single payer health care system accounts for the fact that Canadians live an average of three years longer than Americans.

  • @videogeek27 Insurance run health care in the US accounts for Americans having a three year shorter lifespan than Canadians have

  • @murphyj87 Obviously you don't pay any attention to what I've written, or you just like to argue, even with people that don't refute what your saying about American health care.

This commercial is well over a year old and the health care bill passed already. It's time to move on already....

  • I don't know why you two are arguing over this outdated video. Health reform passed here in the states. The more Americans have a taste of progress the more they'll demand in the voting booths. Obama just secured his 2nd term with the signing of health reform, and he most likely also secured Biden to replace him afterwords.

Let the neanderthals, err, I mean republicans bitch and moan all they want. They have no power so just ignore them and they'll crawl back under the rocks they came from.

  • The whole premise here is false. Government does not run the health care system in Canada, physicans do. In the United States, insurance company bureaucrats who decide who gets treatment and what tretament they get. In Canada, physicians make those decisions and government has absolutely no say in it. Having anyone wedged between a patient and their physician is a totally American phenomenon, and it's insurance company bureaucrats who are wedged there.

  • are you sure you live in canada or are you making that up also. Physicians in Canada are also suing the gov't so they have a say in their patients care. The gov't dictates pay and payouts so doctors come to the USA to make a good living while the canucks are treated like cattle in waiting rooms. Having the gov't decide who lives or dies is a totally Canadian phenomenon. It's the politicians who are wedged between life and death and waiting times. The premier got out and came to the USA. smart

  • @bigbad169 Amercians hospitals pay to have my cousin train their ER staffs, since he is better trained than Amercian ER physicians.

  • @murphyj87 That's one of your better ones....Many emergency rooms throuhout America are staffed by doctors that were stationed in iraq and Afghanistan. I highly doubt any Canuck doctor could train them on emergency procedures. the only thing canadian er doctors do better is tell you to wait a few days and come back in a few months. You make up some good ones though. is that a trait of canadian women? make up shit and hope someone believes it??

  • @bigbad169 Ha!. Amercian hospitals are on a very long waiting list to have my cousin train their ER staffs because he's better trained than most American ER spcialists. It is only in the US where thousands of people die on ER floors eacgh year because they haven't been seen for life threatening illnesses. American ER's are line meat lockers. Canadains have far bettrer care in ER's & hospitals than Amercians have.

  • @bigbad169 Tens of millions of Americans can't even afford to see a physician, let alone go to a hospital.

  • any1 can just go to any hospital and get treatment. What are you talking about. Everyone gets treated regardless of their ability to pay. You really should try to educate yourself before you make up shit.

  • @bigbad169 In Canada they can. In the United States you can get band-aid care for free, anbything more you need money or insurance. Canadians get far better health care than amercians get, that is why we live three years longer than you do. Canadian health c are beats Amercian health care hands down. Educate yourself and find out the truth. Canadians live longer than Americans because we have better health care.

  • who told you that? Your cousin ... Ha ha ha ha . what an idiot. do what the premier of newfoundland did and come to get the best medical care in the world.

  • @bigbad169 No, it's the truth. 38% of Americans will die because they have absolutely no access to health care which they wouldget if were Canadians living in Canada. Your total lack of understanding (or knowing but still telling outright lies) makes Amercians look bad. Even Sarah Palin preferred to go 122 miles to get Canadian health care than to go 90 miles for inferior Amercian health care.

  • @bigbad169 I live in Canada and I put my health care duirectly up against yours and mine is far better than your Amercian insurance run health care system. What garbage. It's clear that you have no idea about Canadian health care if you spout such garbage. American health care is third world health care compared to Canadian health care. Any American who comes to Canada has better hea;th acre than they had in the US.

  • @bigbad169 In Canada, physicians make medical decsions, in the US, insurance company bureaucrats make medical decisions

  • In the USA , doctors and patients make their medical decisions together. In canada politicians make the decisions and then don't use the system they force the sheeple to use. Gov't run healthcare simply sucks as proven in you tubes " a short course in brain surgery" Does the gov't tell you where to work and when to shit and eat.

  • @bigbad169 In Canada, patients & physicians make medical decisions together, with no outside interference. In the US, insurance company bureaucrats overrule the decisions that patients and physicians make, so the final decision is that of the insurance company bureaucrat who's wedged between the Amercian patient and his physician.

  • In canada politicians make all decisions on what procedures are allowed and how long the person will wait to be treated. The final decision is made by an elected official with no regard for the patient. Watch" a short course in brain surgery" learn, absorb and become educated. The premier of newfoundland knows better than to use canadian witchdoctors. People with brains do, what's your excuse.

  • @bigbad169 Your right wing garbage is all lies. In Canada patients and physicians make medical decisions and Canadians have far better heath care and longer lives by three years than the inferior American system which has insurance company bureaucrats making life and death medical decisions for patients based on what's best for the insurance company's bottom line. This is the reason why Canadians live three years longer than Americans.

  • Right wing garbage, WTF is that. So now the truth comes out. You are just a stupid EMO-LIberal who hates anyone better than you because you think everyone should be poor and dependant on the gov't for everything. Tell you what, I'll tie half my brian behind my back to make it a fair discussion with you. you should definitly sue your school because they did a terrible job with you. Typical emo-liberal, now we know why you are an idiot.

  • @bigbad169 I tell the truth. You make up "truth" based on right wing propaganda. far more than 9 in 10 Canadians prefer Canadian health care and wouldn't touch your inferior Amercian health care with a ten foot pole Similarly more than 9 in 10 Canadians would totally reject having an Amercian style health care system (run and rationed by inusrance company bureaucrats) in Canada. Canadians know how ridiculous your outright lies about Canadian health care are.

  • @bigbad169 Average lifespan for am Amercian male: 73 Average lifespan for a Canadian male:76. Average lifespan for am Amercian female: 77 Average lifespan for a Canadian female:81 The inferior American death care system kills Americans three or more years sooner than if they were Canadians with Canadian health care.

  • @bigbad169 Insurance company bureaucrats make medical decisions on who gets treatment and what treatment they get based on what's best for the insurance company's bottom line, not the patient's health and well being.

  • government controlling bureaucrats in canada decide who live or dies in canada and how long they will wait to see a doctor. The smart canucks just come to the USA and get treated immediatly by superior doctors and staffs. In the USA the doctors do every test imaginable on their patients to make sure they don't miss anything which is better for the patient. In canada the sheeple are treated like cattle because the gov't has to save Money. They don't care about the canadian citizen.

  • @bigbad169 This is a totally false right wing American myth. Any Canadian knows the difference. The only place in the industrialized world where there is outside interference in medical decisions that patients &d physicans make is in the United States, where insurance company bureaucrats overrule the decisions of patients & physicians. This is why Amercians live 3 years shorter than Canadians, inferior American health care kills Americans where they would be alive for 3 years longer in Canada.

  • the only myth is that you have a cousin that is a doctor. What a fool you are. watch " a short course in brain surgery" and learn. Emo-liberal, I knew there was a reason you were so stupid and didn't have a clue about the facts. go get youre nails done, wax your pussy, and leave the discussions to the grownups.

  • @bigbad169 My cousin, who trains many ER staffs in the US (because he is better trained and more knowledgeable than American "experts") I put my health acre up aaginst yours, and mine is vastly better than yours.

  • @bigbad169 The government tells me and my physician nothing. We don't have anyone, and most particulaly not an in surance company bureaucrat interfering like you have. You will die three years sooner than you would if you were a Canadian would because you let insurance company bureaucrats make your medical decisons

  • the gov't owns you. they won't even let you get educated properly, you are the proof. the premier of newfoundland is the proof that your medical system sucks. The fact that most Canucks want to be Americans is proof that people are fleeing canada because it's full of uneducated people who like waiting months to see a doctor. Is it true that canada imports ice?? ha ha ha.

  • @bigbad169 There are 1000 Americans fleeing the inferior insurance run system in the US to get Canadian health care for every Canadian who gets tereatment in the US. American insurance run health care is imploding and Americans are flooding over the border to Canada for health care because of that..

  • murphyj87 there are 10,000 canucks a month flooding USA hospitals at the border because they want to live. The border patrol asks, business, pleasure or a canadian seeking proper medical treatment. Canadians are our Mexicans to the north, crossing our borders. Let's c, wait a few months in canada to see a gov't doctor or come to the USA and see a superior doctor immediatly and get treated the same day and get appointments for followups a week later. checkmate

  • @bigbad169 It's exactly the opposite. Americans are flooding out of the US to run away from the inferior health care system that Amercians have for far better health acre that Canadians and Mexicans have. American insurance run and rationed health care ranks 50th worldwide, just behind Cuba at #49.

  • @bigbad169 A survey of American hospitals showed that almost all treated fewer than 10 Canadians in the previous year. On the other hand, most Canadian hospitals treated 700 Americans in the previous year.

  • A survey of Canadian hospitals showed that anyone with the ability to leave them did and came to the USA for treatmnent. Just like the premier of newfoundland did. Another survey by the UN showed that even in haiti they laugh at Canadian healthcare

  • @bigbad169 What garbage. I can see my personal physician always within 48 hours, and usually within 2 hours. I can be seen in an ER within 10 minutes. More and more Americans are realizing how terrible American health care is, and that's why 1.5 million of them come to Canada each year for the better health care they get here than they would get in the United States.

  • you can be seen in an ER but to actually be treated in a canadian er takes days. you could build a tent and start a business before you are taken care of. That's why 7.5 Million canadians every 6 months come to the USA for medical treatment. Why wait and die in canada when you can come to the USA, get treated, enjoy life and go back to canada and tell all your friends about it. Most canadians are starting to realize that their gov't run healthcare is a sham. just watch where the premier went

  • @bigbad169 That's totally false. I can get seen in a Canadina ER within 10 minutes. If it's serious, I get treated when I'm seen (within 10m minuites), if it's not serious, I may wait up to an hour. The average wait to be seen in an Amercian ER is four hours and 1 in 10 Americans wait longer than 8 hours. Canadians are seen in Canadian ER's much sooner than Americans are seen in Amercian ER's.

  • worldwide medical stat say that average wait in canada for hip surgery is 18 months, brain surgery is referred out to the USA. average wait in a Canuck ER is 4 days. The gov't doesn't like to waste money on treatment or doctor /patient decisions so they make them for you. Why do emo_liberals love to have the gov't tell them what to do?? Americans are treated in ER's 50 times sooner than Canucks in ER's. Funeral directors do their best business in canadian er's

  • @bigbad169 The average wait in a Canadian ER is 45 minutes, and only 1 in 10 wait as long as 3 hours. This is much sooner than Amercians are seen in American ER`s where the avreage wait is 4 hours and 1 in 10 wait 8 hours.

  • according to worlwide stats Canadians wait longer than anywhere in the free world. Rick baker, a canuck , is trying to help canadians get proper health care. join in in helping the stupid canucks who don't believe that their elected officials force them to use deathcare while they fly to the USA for treatment. The average wait in a canuck ER is 3 days

  • @bigbad169 What a comedian you are...Canadians would want to be Amercians, with your rotten economy, your rotten hea;th acre, your rotten government system.. If Canadians wanted to be Amercians, they would go there. Canadians are very happy being Canadians and laugh at American pomposity blustering that they have what they call "the best health care in the world", especially ROTFL about your infreior health care system.

  • @murphyj87 you want to be an American but you couldn't find a guy in the USA to marry you so you had to go back. Where did the premier of newfoundland go to get his surgery????? Answer is ,,, USA, USA ,USA like all Canucks with brains. they say they are here on vacation when they really are here to get medical treatment in our superior facilities. Join the canucks with brains miss. sue your school and teachers.

  • @bigbad169 Canadians want no part of the United States, especially the inferior American insurance run health acre system. The only reason I ended up owrking in the US is because I worked for an multinational corporation and I was tranaferred there. If I could have declined the tranfer to the US, I would have, Amercian health care is a disaster, and now your insurance run health care system is breathing it's last breath.

  • @bigbad169 The US will have a single payer system (within the next 10 years), and Canada will NEVER have an inferior Amercian style system.,

  • You have a gov't bureaucrat telling you what you'll have done and when. in the USA the doctor gives the orders and sets up your surgery and treatment and appointments. In canada the politicians tell you to wait months to see a doctor, years to get simple surgery and then tell you how long to wait before you followup. meanwhile they all come to the USA for their treatment from the greatest doctors in the best facilities worldwide. The UN ranks us hospital #1 and canadian hospitals below haiti

  • @bigbad169 There is no government bureaucrat involved in medical decisions in any way. The only place in the industrialized world where there is outside interfverence in medical decisions is in the United States, where insurance company bureaucrats interfere in decisions between patients and physicians based on what's best for the insurance company's bottom line.

  • the premier of newfoundland forces you to use a medievil system then he himself come to the USA to get superior care?? Only sheeple would stand for that. are you no better than the French surrender monkeys?? What's next in Canada's medical system? Only allowed to have 5 teeth in your mouth??? Let the doctor decide and you'll be better off, not the Gov't. I will let you come to the USA to experience freedom of choice. I'll let you visit a real doctor, not a politician with aspirin to give you

  • @bigbad169 I don`t live in Newfoundland and never would, and snce I`m retired I will never be transferred there either.

  • How does a woman like yourself retire when you are as dumb as a stump? Oh yeah the gov't takes care of everything for you. Hey did you hear where the premier of newfoundland came to get superior medical care, that's right , say it, say it,,,,, USA USA USA . that's gotta hurt, your politician proves my point

  • @bigbad169 Canadians would not tollerate outside inteference by ANYONE, yet you Amercians love having insurance company bureaucrats overruling your physician.

  • you have the mayor of your town telling you what medical treatment you can get. If you don't donate to their campaign they deny you coverage, nice system you got there. Does your cousin have to kiss the politicians ass just to get a paycheck?? Come to America like your politicians do if you want to live.....

  • @bigbad169 Canadians have far better health care than Amercians have and no one tlles us what treatment they will have or where they'll have it except their physician. It is only in the US that any on tell you what physician you'll see, because insurance company bureaucrats limit you to a very small "network" of physicians. Canadians, on the other hand, can choose any physician, which Americans can't.

  • @murphyj87 but you let the dog catcher tell you what a doctor can and can't do. Why let a politician decide if you live or die? Come to the USA like your politicians do so they can avoid using the deathcare system the gov't forces you to use. Do they force you to drive certain cars, or live in certain houses? Must suck living that way, the gov't dictating your life. You can't be that lazy that you allow the gov't to run your entire life..

  • @bigbad169 Must suck to have a private enterprise tell you what doctors and hospitals you can use and whether you qualify for surgery, medicine etc.

  • @josava1 must suck to have the politicians that force you to use your medieval system of healthcare run to the USA to get treated right away while you are forced to wait like cattle in emergency rooms for rotten care. You should come to the USA like your politicians do and decide for yourself what doctors to use and when to see them. In canada a gov't official decides who lives or dies , who gets care who doesn't, how much money a hospital will get to treat people. No wonder canucks swarm theUSA

  • @bigbad169 Actually I have lived in both countries and used both medical systems as well as Australias, and I can tell you without a doubt that the Canadian system although not perfect,is a better system that the one currently in the US. Politicians have nothing to with people living or dying or what doctor you use. I was limited in the US by my insurer though, specific doctors and hospitals had to be used. You should try both, then you might have a valid opinion. Cheers!

  • @josava1 I've played Hockey in Canada for over a year so I know 1st hand that the Canadian system is a horror. Actually drove a teammate to Buffalo who was in a canadian Emergency room with abdominal pains for three days. 10 minutes in a USA hospital and he was rushed into surgery with a burst appendix. In canuckville he could have died. Easy to see why your politicians run to the USA for treatment while forcing you to use the archaic system. Why do you let gov't choose instead of you? weak ?

  • @bigbad169 I have grown up in Canada and am over 50. I love our system here and would absolutely not want the American system. Tommy Douglas brought Universal health care to Canada and was recently voted by Canadians as the greatest Canadian ever.

  • @AboveBelowBetween I thought Wayne Gretzky was the greatest Canadian ever. Slim pickins for greatest canadian up there. Guess thats why the premier of new foundland came to the usa for his heart surgery and treatment and the head of the RMCP sent his wife to Slaon Kettering in NYC when she needed cancer treatment. Please watch" a short course in brain surgery" on youtube and get educated about the difference. You'll be amazed as most canadians are. Enjoy the fall season.

  • @bigbad169 Exactly you thought Gretzky which means you are all-informed about Canadians. I only live here so I guess between the two of us you are the expert?

  • @AboveBelowBetween Exactly, " watch a short course in brain surgery" , made by Canadians about Canadians and their medieval medical system. I do know that canadian politicians come to the USA for the best medical care in the world while their countrymen have to wait for months in a barbaric system in canada.

  • @bigbad169 In Canada, if your physician says you need treatment vor surgery you get it without question and no one has to approve it. In the US, the insurande company bureaucrat who stands between and your ohysician has to approve any treatment or surgery you need, or else you are denied it.

  • @bigbad169 The only place in the industrialized world where anyone except physicians make medical decisions is in the United States, where insurance company bureaucrats make medical decisions.

  • @bigbad169 In Canada, the government has absolutely no say in deciding who gets treatment or what treatment they get. It is only in the US where anyone but physicians make medical decisions of who gets treatment and what treatment they get, and that Amercian insurance company bureaucrats make medical decisions based on what's best for the insurance company's bottom line, not the patient's health.

  • it's quite the opposite. doctors in the USA have no restraints on the procedures or the testing done on their patients. They over check their patients because they sheild themselves from lawsuits. American Doctors arenoted for their over caution in treating patients and getting test done. It's quite clear you have no clue about what your talking about. keep trying or get help..

  • @bigbad169 Physicians never even see the 38% of Americans who can't afford to see a physician. Thoise 38% of amercians would have excellent health care if they were Canadians living in Canada, but in the US, they are sentenced to death because they can't afford to see a physician until it's too late to save them in an ER. This is why Canadians live an average of 3 years longer thaqn Americans. 2 in 5 Americans will die from lack of access to health care, 45,000 a year.

  • you don't have to afford to see a physician right away in the USA. Just go to any hospital and you are treated, from beginning to end. You ust mean 38% of people living hear who aren't American citizens, illehgal aliens, they get treated also. Hey did you know the premier of newfoundland came to the USA because he wanted to live and get the best medical care in the world. your cousin told him to come here. ha ha ha ah

  • @bigbad169 I mean 38% of American citizens are totally denied health care, until they can go to an ER, just minutes before they die.

  • and then the USA doctors save them and they are good as new. In canada if you get to an emergency room minutes before you die just keep going to the funeral parlor because its a few days wait to see anyone that can help. The UN threw all canadian doctors out of haiti because they were butchers. Most Canuck emergency rooms should just be morges, go there and wait to die

  • @bigbad169 No, those American who ensd up in ER's DIE from lack of access to health care. It is in the US that ER's are morgues. You have no idea what you're talking about regarding Canadian health care & you only copy Right Wing American fiction. What you say has no relevance to the TRUTH about Canadian health care.

  • heres the truth, The premier of newfoundland, a gov't official who forces you to use a horrible system and traps you into using gov't picked doctors, himself fies to the USA to get care from American doctors at American facilities. American hospitals are fully equiped to handle any situation while canadians struggle for new equipment. that's the truth you cannot deny. he came here USA USA USA

  • @bigbad169 You are only defending the totally broken American insurance run health care system to resusitate it before it totally collapses, but INFERIOR.. American insurance run health care is terminally ill. Your lies about Canada and Canadian health care are only attempts at feeding people fiction because the inferior American insurance run health care system is imploding from it's massive greed, massive overhead, and massive bureaucracy.

  • veternarians in the USA have better equipment and treat people better than Canadian doctors. Any eMO-LIBERAL KNOWS THAT AS A FACT.

  • @bigbad169 Veterinarians give better care than most American physicians and Amercian hospitals. Canadian have excellent health care, especially compared to inferior American insusrance run health care.

  • @murphyj87 We can't imagine being a parent in canada with a sick child and a politician tells you to bring your child to the doctor in 4 months. In desperation you take your child to the hospital and you have to wait days to just be looked at. No wonder scores of canadian parents cross the border to get their children looked at by competent doctors in impeccable facilities and they wait a few hours instead of months. We have pity for you

  • @bigbad169 Canadians don't worry in the slightest because we have excellent access to health care, while Americans do not. You continue to conjure up total fictiion about Canadian health care. You don't have a clue about real Canadian health care. It is Americans who flock across the border into Canada for health care, not the other way around. It is Americans who are denied access to health care by insurance company bureaucrats who make the medical decisions for Americans.

  • @bigbad169 Emergency treatment in Canada is far better than what you get in the United States. You keep on getting your nations confused, it is in the US that people wait and die in ER's, not in Canada. American insurance run health care is in the throes of death and before long it will implode, and you won't have the insurance company bureaucrat to make your medical decisons and you won't know what to do.

  • @bigbad169 We Canadians laugh at your ridiculously poor health care and we know you're jealous of the high quality, better access, & better medical outcomes that we have compared to the crap you have. We Canadians have the best health care system in the world and everyone here knows it, and we know that you Americans have among the worst health care systems in the world. Tell that to your insurance company bureaucrat as he stands between you & your physician & makes your medical decisions.

  • @bigbad169 No one waits months for anything medical in Canada. We have excellent emergency care and wait far shorter times in a Canadian ER than you would in the US. Your drivel about waiting hours, let alone days or weeks it total garbage and only proves that you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. Just as one of many examples I could give, my mother at age 72 went to the ER with chest pain, within 5 minutes of arriving she was admitted, and within 8 hours had bypass surgery.

  • @murphyj87 Obviously this was in Canada.

  • @bigbad169 Only a handful of Canadians go to the US for treatment because they're deceived into thinking you have health care system. When they find that all you have is garbage for health care, they never go back. On the other hand, 1.5 million Americans come to Canada for teatment & the number is increasing fast, since they realize that Canadian health care is far better than they have in the US. Dozens of studies have proven that Americans wait longer for treatment than Canadians do in Er's.

  • Just in the last hour a million canadians came to the USA for superior treatment. It's like the USA is sucking all the citizens out of Canada at the border. Who uses American hospitals more? Poor Mexicans or canadians who are laughed at by their politicians??

  • @bigbad169 Oh sure, except those are Amercians coming to Canada for treatment. We laugh at the false cliam that you have the best health acre in the world because you actually have the 50th best health care system in the world. Cuba is #49 and Canada is #27.

  • @bigbad169 Americans with third world insurance run health care are the ones being laughed at. My health care is much better than yours. Share that with the inusrance company bureaucrat who makes your medical decisions for you.

  • @bigbad169 So you're saying that 3.5% of the population go to the united states for treatment every hour? Are you insane? By your reckoning, that would mean the entire population of Canada gets treated in the US every 28 hours. People... it's obvious that bigbad169 is a complete moron. It would be best to just disregard his statements from now on.

  • @cdangers Only the smart canucks that are sick. Definitly the politicians in canada come to the USA, that's a proven fact. The Premier of New Foundland knew better than to wait months in canada for his medical needs. We had this discussion a year ago. Is this typical of all canadians, wait for health care 11 months, wait to respond 11 months ? Watch " a short course in Brain surgery" on youtube. Made by canadians about canadians.

  • @bigbad169 @bigbad169 I think you're too stupid to realize that fast doesn't mean better. The people who do wait do so because it's not necessary to get treatment today but it is for someone else. Plus, when something does go wrong with our health we all know that it will be taken of AND we will never have to be concerned with losing our homes and life savings to pay the hospital bills. It's obvious you're talking out your ass and have no real experience (the worst kind of people)

  • @cdangers Where did the premier of Newfoundland, a canadian politician, go when he needed the best and quickest surgery in the world??? Answer:::: The USA, USA,USA. In a short course in brain surgery on youtube where did the man with the brain tumor come because he wanted to live??? Answer USA, USA ,USA. Why did they choose the USA over their Canadian deathcare system?? We all know why. Because it's superior to the farm animal medical care that canadians are forced to use. U don't know better

  • Comment removed

  • @bigbad169

First Danny Williams lied about his operation not being available in Canada

Second, He owns a Condo 5 miles away from the MT Sinai Hospital in Miami. He went to Miami due to the weather not because of a (better) health care system. His operation he wanted is available throughout Canada

Canada or Miami in Feb for a month of recuperation?

Second, Shona Holmes lied She had a Rathke Cleft cyst not a Brain Tumor.

You were played as a fool by health insurance companies

  • @bigbad169 I can't either because it DOES NOT HAPPEN IN CANADA. It happens in the US when people are denied health care, but NO ONE IS DENIED HEALTH CARE IN CANADA IN THE WAY YOUR LIES SAY.

  • Imagine how people from third world countries feel when they get to Canada and need medical treatment and they see that animals in the zoo in their poor countries get treated quicker and with better care then Canadian citizens. all the while the canadian politicians come to the USA for health care because they want to live. Vets offices in the USA are better equiped than Canadian hospitals and the people with the means in Canada know thius and flock to the USA everyday because they want to live.

  • @bigbad169 I know how people in a third world nation feel and so do you because Amercian health care is that of a third world nation. However you feel is how people with a third world health care system feel.

  • @bigbad169 Canadian politicians except for one get health acre in Canada and Danny Williams only went for surgery in the US because the inusrance company bureaucrats who run you health care system lined his pockets to be their anti reform poster boy. Danny Williams is not smiling now, since he is going to be voted out for having surgery in the US because he was bribed.

  • Danny Williams was the only politician that admits all canadian politicians come to the USA for healtcare because they would not ever use the system they force the sheeple in Canada to use.Yes he was bribed. It went like this.Stay and get treated in Canada and die or Go to the USA , get treated by the worlds best doctors in the most up to date facilities , laugh at the stupid people in canada who are forced to wait months for an aspirin, then go home and run canuck citizens lives for them. ur2EZ

  • @bigbad169 Danny Williams said no such thing. Why don't you refer to Jack Layton, federal NDP leader, who is having his prostate cancer treated in Canada and wouldn't have it any other way? Jack Layton represents the 98% of Canadian politicians who have all their health care of any kind in Canada and totally reject Amercian health care as being inferior.

  • Jack Layton has a deal with the funeral directors in Canada. He will tell the citizens how long they have to wait for doctors in canada and the funeral directors will pay him a kickback for all the business canadian hospitals make for the funeral parlors. Jack Layton will sneak into the USA like most smart people and get treated properly. Then he and Danny AWilliams will laugh as they decide who lives and who dies in canada and how long they will wait. They laugh at fools like you. ha ha ha ha

  • @bigbad169 No, Rick Scott & American medical insurance companies do have such a deal. The only place in the industrialized world where there's outside interference in medical decisions is in the US, by insurance company bureaucrats who decide who lives and dies. Only physicians & patients make medical decisions in Canada. Government in Canada has absolutely no say, but what Americans like you wrongly attribute to government in Canada is what's done by insurance companies in the US .

  • @bigbad169 Danny Williams is living on borrowed time because he will be defeated for going to an inferior health care system in the US for surgery.

  • @bigbad169 Most of the best physicians in the world are OUTSIDE of the United States, and many of them are in Canada. Canadans know that American health care is inferior to what we have in Canada and wouldn't touch such inferior health care as you have in the US with a ten foot pole.

  • @bigbad169 Fix your own broken American health care system before your start spreading lies about another nation's health care system, especially one that works far better than your own. Fix your own system so that all those millions of Americans don't have to Canada to get health care they're denied in the US.

  • @bigbad169 Politicians have no say in who is your doctor or what hospital treats you in Canada, where did you get this drivel? As for scores of Canadians crossing the border, why would they do that? They would have to pay out the mouth just to see a doctor. You're completely misguided

  • @josava1 watch " a short course in brain surgery " on youtube and you'll see why canucks flock to the USA for superior health care. They would rathare pay and live then wait and die in Canada. Also Why did the premier of newfoundland come to the USA for his surgery? We both know why, superior doctors , hospitals and care.

  • @bigbad169 If you want health care in the US, you have to pay $150 for one phsyician's visit if you can't afford insurance, as 38% of Amercians can't afford enough insurance to meet their medical needs. Insurance companies in the US decide who lives and who dies. 100% of Canadians have access to health care, 38% of Americans have no access to health care, but would if they were Canadians living in Canada.

  • you can see a doctor for free, just go to any hospital like the mexicans and the canadians do here everyday. hey someone just e-mailed me that you were a prostitute in canada..., No wonder you don't like real doctors like we have in America. Yoiu just want a stamp that says you are clean so you could go back to work. Were you deported from the USA? Is that why you are so jealous of the USA and it's superior system?

  • @bigbad169 I'm retired after working 35 years for a multinational corporation, I don't go back to work. I have a full pension. I also have far better health care than you have with your inferior American insurance company bureaucrat run health care.

  • @bigbad169 What a laugh. Canadians laugh at American insurance run health care because it's so inferior to the health care that we have in Canada.

  • @murphyj87 Canadian politicians laugh at Canadians because they come to the USA for superior medical treatment while canuck citizens have to wait months to get horrible care. The world laughs because canuck citizens allow it to happen. The canadians who cross the border and come to the USA laugh at the emo-liberals who depend on the gov't for existence

  • @bigbad169 What Canadian politicians and citizens alike laugh at is your ridiculous broken American health care system.

  • Cnadians have far better health care than Amercians with insurance run and insurance rationed health care. i've lived in both Canada and the United States and I kissed the ground outside my Canadian physician's office after coming back to Canada after having to tollerate inferior American health care with an insurance company bureaucrat making my medical decisions.

  • you americans are so fucking gullable, the bullshit fucking lies, your government is corrupt and bought and paid for, and you dummies don't even see it, your too busy trying to get your canditates in office you don't even give a shit,it's all about who's guy wins, BLIND, BLIND, BLIND, BLIND, BLIND,,

  • Whoa there cowboy... maybe you need to check and see if your NHS will pay for some anger management classes!

  • @backbeats100 some americans still see what the government does and the corrupted system it relies on

  • What is this ad saying? That private health care run by businessmen prevents bad medical outcomes?

  • I find it hard to believe Cuba became a socialist country because of their health care system. But what do I know, I'm just a rational person in a country full of rambling morons.

  • thank god i dont live in the united states.

I cant believe that you are being fed this ridiculas propoganda.

You americans are screwed, your stuck with corrupt congressmen (who get free health care).

  • Just youtube " a short course in Brain Surgery" and you'll learn all you need to know about Canada's Deathcare system.

  • wow your dumb

  • wow your mom swallows

  • Ummm... I'm Canadian, LIVED in the US, worked in a US hospital, and I returned to Canada mainly because of the healthcare system. You, on the other hand, have probably never lived outside of the US. So how do you know what you're talking about?

  • My business partner parents are from Toronto and in May we had to drive there because his father , who is ill, had taken a turn for the worse and he is a diabetic. When we arrived we asked when he last saw a doctor and were told April 10th and his next appointment was for October 22. We immediatly took him to see his doctor but were told to go home. We spoke to his doctor who told us he couldn't do anything till his appointment and we should take him to an emergency room. We took him to the USA

  • Well, so in an emergency you always take a person to emerg. D'uh. Even in the US you do that.

  • His doctor would not even look at him because he was so backed up with patients and he had an appointment for October so he told us to take him to an emergency room !!! The emergency room was jam packed and we were told there was a 36 hour wait. We drove him to Buffalo and took him to a doctor who saw him in 1 day, adjusted all his meds, did a total blood work program and gave him a diet to stick to. If we waited till October he would have died from inproper medications. Canada Deathcare sucks

  • If he had no insurance he would have an infinity-hours wait wouldn't he?

Sorry, but I don't know your situation, all I know is I make an appointment, see a doctor in a day or so, never need to pay. I've been in a car accident, had several surgeries, and I'm doing fine.

I also lived in the US.

You'll never ever convince me to want to switch the system in Canada to that of the US.

  • No in the U.S. if you have no insurance you have to be treated by a hospital regardless of your ability to pay. Border hospitals are overrun with Canadians and mexicans wanted the best care possible. You never switch till your life is at stake, then you'll wish you had American healthcare, doctors and outpatient care.Just youtube"a short course in brain surgery " and it will tell you all you need to know about Canadian Deathcare from a Canadian family who chose life in the USA vs DEATH in canada

  • Canadians over-running border hospitals? Excuse me, but what are you smoking? Detroit ALWAYS sends their extras over to Windsor, making our wait times horrible. I know of plenty of Detroiters that seek the compassion of their neighbour to the north when it comes to health related problems, and quite frankly, I don't blame them.

  • youtube " a short course in brain surgery". tells you all you need to know about Canada's deathcare system. N.Y. state hospitals are over run by canadians who want to live instead of waiting months to see a doctor and getting sub-par care. I've never heard of anyone from another country going to canada for life-saving surgery, always the U.S.A.. An actress from the U.S.A bumped her head skiing in canada and they had no-one to treat her and she died because of Canada's deathcare system. sad

  • Man, I'm Canadian and have had an ulcer, I've been in a head-on collision, and required emerg care, ICU-time and operations. I've had numerous operations on my legs. And I've never EVER needed to go to a US hospital. Neither has ANYONE in my family. So I don't know where you're getting this.

  • so the head-on collision won't allow you to comprehend that people from all over the world come to the US when they need expert care and surgery. If your head is not to swollen from the head-on collision simply youtube" a short course in brain surgery" , made by a Canadian family faced with the prospect of letting their husband and father die because of Canadian deathcare or bringing him to the U.S.A and getting treated immediatly, expertly, and living to tell about it. your on you tube , do it.

  • Are you familiar with the phrase "Penny wise, pound foolish"?

  • Are you familiar with the phrase " You get what you pay for"?

  • Yes, and we pay a lot for it. But what we don't pay for is insurance company CEOs to skim off the top.

  • Oh so your just an anti-big business girl who doesn't really care about healthcare as long as there isn't someone making a lot of money. The CEO who builds a company isn't entitled to make a profit?? We don't pay taxes so politicians can give our money to people who refuse to work and are looking for a handout. Why do Liberal woman like yourself hate hardworking people who make money??

  • Okay, maybe I've been too hard on business. In single-payer, all healthcare providers are business. Even that air ambulance service - while government-funded - contracts to businesses to provide services.

I'm not against business. I'm against big, fat, bloated business. Or trying to get business to do something it should not be doing. Like, there's no way in hell I'd want the police to be a business.

PS: Canada is gradually moving to two-tiered (public-/private-funded) system. We need to.

  • As in you're using one single bad experience from a system that serves everyone, with no bankruptcies and yielding a higher life expectancy overall as evidence that it is "worse" than a system where vast numbers of people simply die because they are denied healthcare by their insurance companies.

  • Liam Neesom's wife died from Canadian deathcare, The family in " a short course in brain surgery " had no use for Canada's deathcare system, the list goes on and on. If you have insurance you get unsurpassed healthcare in the USA , if you don't have insurance you get Canadian style healthcare except with better doctors and facilities. You need a higher life expectancy in canada because you wait on lines for healthcare for years of your life.

  • Another one of those exceptional cases. It doesn't prove anything.

Likewise, the New York Times Washington correpsondent died a couple years ago of almost the same injury when he was mugged on the streets of DC (I lived there at the time). They took him to Howard University hospital, where he was parked in a corner, assumed drunk (because he was projectile vomiting - a symptom of bleeding into the brain). He died.

So what does that prove? That some doctor wasn't doing their job buddy.
