A girlfriend first gave me this album 32 years ago this summer and I first became aquainted with the pre-El Paso 50's Marty. What a treasure for a Marty fan!
Great song of the greatest country and western singer that ever walked on our earth.Marty for me had the most wonderful voice I ever heard, sadly he left this world to soon.May he rest in the arms of our God together with his lovely wife Marizona and his two compadres Don and Bill. Thanks to you Alan his memory will stay alive,so we can enjoy the music of this great wonderful man.Thank you again.
Thank you, Alan. This certainly isn't one of Marty's better known recordings, but I do think it's one of his best. He never had more of a "pop" sound on any recording before or since.
I'm going to feature your video in my video log, and try to attract Marty's fans to this site.

Marty Robbins and Jim Reeves were two of my favorite country-and-western singers. We'll not see their likes again any time soon.
