JJ shld think abt personal edge instead of looking 2 market trends in pop culture.i can see why his work is easy 2 imitate. look at gifted performers like lee hom, jay chou and khalil fong 4 reference. they etch out a very distinct style and musical impact in a uniform commercial world. their work is distinctly becoming their own that nobody dare imitate. JJ still catering to pop appeal. shld take more risks musically.
the two songs used the chorus of Streets of Cairo, however, JJ lin did write out the rest of the song, coz Streets of Cairo ishh only a small verse. however, wanbi ishh like took the whole song.

Haven't any of you heard that song that kids sing that goes, "there's a place on Mars where the women smoke cigars..." and the melody is used a lot in cartoons where characters are doing that one "Egyptian dance." (this goes for a lot of other music/songs)
it can be exactly the same as JJ's. but the copyrights extend only to the song which generates revenue... not dance moves. i don't think there are copyrights for choreography. it's exactly the same, but at the same time, legal. if it were illegal to do what wan bi did, his label might've purchased rights to do the song in another language. which i doubt, because theres no reason to through the language change.
if want me to say who is the REAL original... i would say is JJ lin. If not y he still put an mini movie video to this song? N his "the killer" album is the main song. n if Wan Bi is the imposter also not his fault. it his company wan him to sing. Or maybe JJ lin share this song to Wan Bi so tat they can sing it too. music for everyone.=)
