  • This is a trouble bird in the making if you allow her to dominate people like that. never keep your bird on your head or shoulder. it will go wrong one day and when you got a face full of scars its not that funny anymore.. And you cant blame the bird when it happens because a bad owner gives a bad bird, simple as. if it goes wrong you got yourself to blame..

  • Lovely bird but I don't find this funny at all, she needs training before someone gets hurt.

  • Be careful the parrot might poke at your eyes in the future. Don't let it get used to these kinds of games.

  • Just curious..do you still have this bird? Have you stopped letting it sit on heads etc?

  • Adorable!

  • ThaTS WHAT MY AFRCAN GREY DOES! she is so funny! now i cant stop watching that video!!!! rofl

  • You shouldn't let it do that. It will become dominant and aggressive, and bite and peck at you. If I were you, I would stop this behavior as soon as possible. You may think that it's cute now, but trust me, you won't later. Don't let it get to the point where they feel they are higher on the ladder than you. You'll regret it.

  • aww i like parrots

  • i have an african grey and it is true! she became dominent but luckly she didnt get to far!!! u shoulndt let them by ur face. my bird likes shiney things, wt if she was whering earings? she could have been bit.

  • lol

  • No it is not just her. Parrots that try to get up on heads and get to ride around on shoulders become dominent. This isnt something that might happen I can 100% guarantee that if you do this your bird WILL get dominent. After this the bird with start to scream, bite, show aggression and will only want to be on your head. You are stupid for letting this happen.

  • it is kinda cute they seem to have a relationship but I agree with the others this has been shown to be a dominant issue. She is still a baby but a friend of mine has a grey that he handfed, and he let or allowed it to nibble at his face then after about three years one day as they were playing the bird decided that it would show more aggression and bit through his nose he had to have plastic surgery.please just use extreme caution around eyes noses and lips all bird owners get bitten

  • I can asure you that its not a good idea to learn the bird to sit on top of the head. If it get used to that it will prefer to sit on that place and wont accept to sit on the shoulder, since they like being in the highest spot. Just a friendly advice.

  • I dont like my african to sit on my head either,

  • i love it what a beautiful little hampster

  • naughty bird it thinks it is the boss of your mum....funny but naughty

  • That is not funny. You are teaching your bird some habits that will become a problem for you. Do not promote dominance in your bird.

  • its only a pet. shes attatched to my mum and my mum is a softie just like her. plus shes still only a baby.

  • If my african grey parrot tries to get on my head I take it as an attack on my superiority. I think the parrot is trying to say "I'm in controle of you, but you're not in controle of me". I was told that parrots mesure their place in the family after how high up they are. My parrot never gets to do this, and kind of don't think it's funny :s but hey, that's just me!

  • yes that is just you.

  • My 17 year old is the exception then. He rides on my shoulder on a leash in a harness, he was not raised doing this -- he's a rescue. When I take the leash off he hops off my shoulder and onto the back of the sofa (which is lower in relation to the shoulder). Not all birds have dominance issues, even if mine is a brat because the flight feathers are coming back in, he has never bitten anyone in the face and I've never worried he will. I also dremel his beak 3x a week, he loves it when I do that.

  • my budgie Bart is like a mini parrot. She does exactly the same on my head (not poo!) how funny ;-)

  • it means it wants to shit on your face

  • lol i have one

  • My African Grey stands on my head too....I wonder what that means? hehe oh n im using my brother's account. i dont have one.
