  • Chicken will be very juicy , but if the quantity of water is not good , then you'll have the chicken which is very dry. lol

  • Bhaiya style ah..throwing the lemon. Nice dish everyone in the family liked it, my children got bored of my cooking, everytime when i tried something it went wrong, so they request me not to try any new recipes....but now they have become fan of VAHCHEF. Thankyou Bhaiya

  • At 4:54, he says "squeeze a little bit of lime juice", as he throws into the air what looks more like a Lemon.

  • 2:42 he's right, nothing makes me more sad than tough and dry chicken.

  • my dear aunt anita taught me this method,. beautiful.

  • you really need to put up proper recipes on you website chef, the existing recipe is flawed.especially while making rice dishes we need to know the proper rice measurements.it seems to me like you really don't want to give ur viewers the right measurements of few recipes.most of the recipes in your website are flawed and what else can we expect, the person typing the recipes is just guessing the quantity.

  • look lodu pakistani here

  • What's your problem? Replying a question with another question is pretty stupid.

  • I don't have basmati, and the long-grained rice that I get from the American grocery store always gets messed up with 2x water... what is the ideal amount of water if i'm using long-grained rice?

  • In the US supermarkets, Basmati rice is available. Check for the Carolina brand. I often substitute it with Jasmine rice

  • why is basmati rice so expensive?

  • where do you find curry leaves here? they don't sell that in the stores here

  • they do sell curry leaves (kadipatta) in a few indian stores (if u have ur parents/relatives in india) they can send u dried n powdered curry leaves.

  • Dear Chef,

    That as a great one.

Please can u explain the difference between Chiken Puloa and Chik. Biryani? Often,in many hotels.. the dish is almost same..

What is the diff? And what to look out for when ordering these two dishes ?

  • Hey bharatsm,

Our beloved Vahchef explained the difference between pulao and biryani in one of his earliest videos. Please watch the following video: watch?v=oZpq9icGBl4

  • I don't usually like pulao but that looks pretty tasty.

  • mouth watering...

  • OMG vah cheff, told my mom to make that, HOLY SMOKES!!!! it was good!!!

  • great

  • i think he meant sesame not poppy, no? iv never seen white poppy seeds. but i could be wrong.

  • mmm... lovely jubbly. looks great.

  • u can find poppy seeds in indian grocery stores

  • He meant white poppy seeds it is used quite regularly in indian dishes i myself use it in my kebab recepie lol

  • yep..u r wrong...;-)...it is poppy seed...

  • It was poppy seeds.. though you are right in some variations if you don't have coconut, you can use seasame seeds with poppy seeds roast it blend it to make the paste the Chef made.

  • my mom uses poppy seeds for this biryani (i am frm andhra pradesh) n we use poppy seeds in many dishes.

  • second
