I had to use the ferry until cheap flights made flying and renting a car at the other side much more fun and cheaper.

I've seen MUCH worse than this on board. I'm an amateur pianist and was offered a job on board by a cruise manager. £300 a week + a cabin & food he enthusiastically gushed. 7 days a week. Don't jobs like this only make sense if you're homeless?
