  • how the fuck did i get here from call of duty videos

  • wow!!!! its boring

  • I am the 50.000 viewer <3

  • No, the big news is you really need to trim your 'bush'...

  • Hey Barbara, there's a wolf behind you!!!

  • If it was alive, I would choose Either and a lighter. Yep, cook em'.

  • That dog knew a blue screen was coming for it, did you see it run?

  • @SuperTobias09 It's obviously empty.

  • I did pest control for 20 years, and I have never seen birds buid a nest in an old hornets nest. Very interesting, thanks for the video.

  • @Jubjub1878 She didn't say they built a nest inside. She said the birds made holes in the nest to get the larvae

  • I love Barbara Pleasant

  • This is what keeps the aphids off your blackberry bushes.

  • dang that thing is bigger than your head

  • Barbara Pleasant were you in the Coca Cola hiiltop advert when you were a teenage hippy?

  • these guys are the hells angels of the insect world

  • @phorlakhnanta

Hahahaha! I couldn't have said it better.

  • Bald -faced hornets are the worst!!! They will come after you and they do not ask ??'s

My cat got into one of these last summer and was at the vet for a week, he thought she was a goner.

  • Ya I was actually attacked when I was 10 years old and I was stung 64 times I think, was in the hospital for a while

  • @TTTmiller I can understand that bald-faced hornets can attack with little provocation and 64 stings by them can be quite painful and dangerous. However, tarantula hawk wasps are even more aggressive and dangerous than bald-faced hornets. They can attack humans with almost no provocation and their stings are longer and contain a more potent venom than the stings of bald-faced hornets. Be thankful you weren't stung by the tarantula hawk wasp!

  • @glenn3rd2004

I've never heard of the giant Pepsis tarantula killers as being aggressive. They're thick out here in the Aridzona desert. I've been zoomed by them plenty of times but they've never shown any interest in me; they keep right on going (thankfully!)

  • That's a big nest! Even though I knew the workers were long dead, I actually jumped a little when you stepped aside to reveal the gigantic Nest of Doom! Keep in mind that wasps kill plenty of 'good' insects as well!

  • @geonerd

I jumped, too. Bad memories of those nests. I can't even see one in a museum without getting jittery.

  • Geez I have to have Windows and my powered speakers cranked to hear this. Better remember to turn it back down.

  • lol would be so funny. Its still a running nest and they just all come out. Although it would be pretty bad,

  • I see there's a lot of dopey comments on your video but seriously, you can take those to taxidermists and they ought to buy them from you (at least they do on West coast). That way they can use them for big projects w/bears, other nature scenes. Just a little FYI

  • Since it is November, she is safe. They have died off. Now come spring the queen may return, therefore, remove the thing while it is empty since it is in your blackberries silly!

  • Wasps don't reuse nests.

  • One of the first sign's of red-neckness, a hornets nest in your yard. She needs to hang that nest in her living room now.

  • that would of been funny if there was still a couple still in the nest as she was messing with it.

  • Bald-faced hornets are wasps indeed and they don't make honey. :)

  • i wouldnt go near that nest

  • its weird how the nest is connected (bzzzzzz) holy shit! lol

  • that is so stupid and plus i would laugh if there was a bee in the nest

  • i would also laugh if there was still bees in that thing i would nearly die

  • ur a brave person cause even though there is nothing in there i would still freak to eve go near that thing

  • i probably would have thrown something at it from a distance and ran. so see if it had anything in it first.

  • hornets and other things bees n bat n other birds n some bugs r very useful they eat the pesky bugs like misqutios and flies there pretty cool

  • smart woman, hornets are scary, but they are very useful

  • im curious, how are they usefull?

  • Wasps and hornets are predators. They kill insects that attack garden plants and vegetables. Gardeners love wasps and hornets near their gardens.

  • HailZeon57 u can 1 Smoke it out or 2 water it down or 3 blow it up =D

  • I got a Bald Faced Hornets nest on my tree out front. I'm afraid to mow my lawn because I have to mow right under the tree! I don't know what to do...

  • if you feel its a threat you can call a pest removal specialist. a better option may to be to contact you local university (if you have one). the bio department at my university will remove nests and 'transplant?' them humainly or use them for study. bald faced hornets can be aggressive and are best left alone if you can help it.

  • Depending on the size it is now, you can wait until way after night times and spray with harnet spray. They, as well as yellow jackets built nests in front of my house every season right over the front door. I have to go out and kill these damned nests. If you have a friend who works for the electric company, ask them for some company hornet spray, they get the best stuff.

  • ummm yeah i had one of those but it was yellojacket and a huge ass crow no be were in it landed on it and tore lik half of it apart it was crazy

  • They stay away in the woods, they can live. Build near me, and they die.

  • Comment removed

  • Why would you say that? I've had one in a tree, and all they do is mind their own buissiness. It's people like you who would tick them off, which would force you to kill them.

  • sometimes accidents happen
