  • if you base it on just appearance (and even voice a little), freddie here in 1975 is much different than freddie in 1985... But the way the shadow is, and if you concentrate on just his face (at around 0:35ish) , its like hes the exact same as on the magic tour- or even in the early 90's. This guy really never aged- freaking gorgeous.... LUV u freddie <3<3<3

  • 2:17 heh, Freddie messed up with a chord, look at his face for a second :)) He's amazing!

  • simple truth...

I am 16. and again, i am sorry for whaat my generation has done to music. this time will forever last as best time in music world.

  • @iwannabegodric Hey,I'm 11..and I'm so right with you!Stupid ugly new kind of music!

    :trollfacing:

  • this is better than the record version......

I love how he holds the 1st "as it began" longer and the "she cannot see" he also holds longer with his cute little "oh" to finish

    :DDD

  • So many still love him it is soo wonderful...as far as I'm concerned Queen could be the the eighth wonder of the world...

  • Greatest singer there has ever been. This is an amazing concert. Saw themlive in 1986 but would loved to have seen them in the 70's.

  • ohmygosh i have white queen from here on my ipod! i cant tell you how many times i've heard "hahaha ok my dahlings..." this is like my favorite performance of probably my favorite queen song- love it! :):):)

  • this song it's a really God's beauty...!

  • The incompetent dollar junkie's from the rolling stone magazine should listen to this.

  • Why this song wasn't included on Greatest Hits I?? 20 years without you Freddie, but i still love you...

  • Is he wearing nail polish?? O_O Not that its NOT common in boys these days, stealing our mascara and all, just saying!! :)

  • @Westiepup101 I'm not directing this at you but just to people in general. It's funny hearing the reaction when young people see Freddie for the first time and are shocked when they see him wearing eye liner, nail polish, long hair, etc. This was from the '70's and everything done today was first done back in the '70's.

But what you see on stage was not the real Freddie, only his excellent talent was real. He was very shy and did not wear make up or dress flamboyant when he went off stage.

  • @Yo1969Yo Oh. :) See, I'm not really familiar with styles back then, since I know more about the 30's-40's era. Really? He doesn't seem shy. So, he wore blue jeans, or whatever was popular back then? I didn't know that. :) :D Have a great day!

  • @Westiepup101 Oh yes, he was very, very shy. He could not walk into a room full of people he didn't know. Someone had to be with him in order for him to walk in, yet he could walk on stage in front of thousands of people and sing with no problem.

    Copy and paste this: watch?v=eQsM6u0a038

He's wearing blue jeans and he's performing in front of 70,000 with one billion people watching around the world. This performance has been considered the greatest live performance ever.

  • @Yo1969Yo Wow. He seemed un-shy!! I've never seen him in blue jeans, that's for sure. Thanks for the tips! You're a very helpful person! I would get stage fright if I was sitting in front of over 1,000,070,000 people!

  • @Yo1969Yo Freddie said he felt lonely very easily and could walk into a room of people and feel alone. He didn't always want to meet fans for a few years because he felt that the shy down to Earth Freddie was going to disappoint fans as on stage he was so larger than life He was confident though. I think being sent to India for schooling and travelling alone gave him a kind of strength to deal with things. Freddie makes me smile and believe because I to feel lonely very easily.

  • @Yo1969Yo actually, one of the reasons of why they went to Munich (where he spent a lot of time) or even Montreux to record and work was to go to some place where no-one would bother them. Especially Freddie, and more towards his later years. And also a reason for saying he was aids-positive so near the death (day before).

He wore a moustache because it was something his circle of friends wore. Live Aid was a short and simple, so I guess it was not so flamboyant as other gigs.

  • Great Music...!!!!

  • Queen II my favorite Queen album.

  • great song....its all about the music everything else is just noise....from a life long fan

  • Such a beautiful song.

  • the piano at 2:47!!! The most wonderful piano chourds I've ever heard!!!

  • Freddie Mercury Brian May Roger Taylor John Deacon .these 4 talented musicians and songwriters were a perfect combination .they were together for 20 years when Freddie passed..I saw them in '77 and'78 at MSG they were just brilliant no one put on a show like they did it was an amazing ride they just blew me away Freddie Mercury was the best frontman ever.Brian May a guitar master Roger Taylor great on drums and John Deacon brilliant bass Freddie is gone almost 20 yrs but the music lives on

  • @queenandi DO U NOT LISTEN OR EVEN READ??? I CLEARLY SAID MY COUSIN HACKED MY ACCOUNT AND SHE STARTED TO POST MEAN THINGS ON QUEEN VIDEOS AND SONGS THAT I LIKE!!!how about u shut up and get a life! This convo is DONE!!!

  • @Westiepup101 Ohh my, you have a BIG problem. You should stop taking whatever drugs you're on, or see a shrink, but anyway do something about that anger. And maybe you should take that (imaginary) cousin with you. And begin with keeping away from the internet. It's too dangerous for you.

  • @queenandi u need to shut up and get a life. loser. how much do u wanna bet my cousin is an actual human being. shut up get a life instead of picking on 10 year olds. u, my friend, are the most stupidest person on youtube!!

  • 4 people have just shit in their eares.

  • cool piano solo

  • QueenII And The dark side of the moon are the best album in the world.

  • @AndreaGianca1 eveybody knows!!!!!!!!

  • This is amazing!! :D

  • Soo Beautiful I can cry...:-))

  • Ok Freddie, my darling, go on rocking, I'm all ears:*!

  • So beautiful. This is one of my favourite Queen song. From one of the best albums, Queen II and Sheer heart attack. I love their long-hair era. They were real artists at that time. Thanks for uploading this great video clip.

  • Love it!!! Brian letting the AC30 EAT!!!

  • Tommygun, Thanks so much for uploading this. I always thought that Queen was at their best in the early days. Maybe not, but I started listening to Queen since their first album and I remember the most fondly their first albums.

  • ''Ha ha! O.k darlings this is a little-delicate little number called 'White... Queen...''. Amazing song wow! Freddie was an awsome human being in this world,I'm so happy he had a great sence of humour, most people don't.

  • Freddie's gorgeous, and so is his hair. How could you even say that he's ugly?! His beauty and his voice can make you break down in tears. I guess some people just don't know true beauty when they see it. He's the most beautyfulist persian man i've ever seen in my life-in history! I respect and love him as a friend...R.I.P

  • @FreddieMfan45 I agree he was drop-dead gorgeous, but he had that kind of face that you either saw as extraordinarily beautiful or weird/ugly. Kind of like Sophia Loren.

  • Speechless

  • I just love this song.....was lucky enough to see Queen 3 times...'77, '78 and '80....the only thing I can say is they were Brilliant!.....Pure Genius..Nothing but love and respect for these 4 Amazing men..I am a Queen fan till the end!!

  • @helga284 i'm such a big queen fan that i got a big queen tattoo on my back :)

    just love these guys

  • @musiclover9369 cool I have a little one on my shoulder blade

  • His hair is... um, I don't know what style it is. Like I wasn't born in the 80's so, I don't know what was hot and not.

  • @Westiepup101 who cares, it was queen. you dont question a legend like queens style. :)

  • @josephdenis204 ok sorry. shhesh!

  • @Westiepup101 More a reason to just shut up and listen.

  • @Westiepup101 well, it's really not a particular style...shoulder-length, shaggy, with fringe. also, this is from the '70s, not the '80s. long hair on guys was a fairly popular thing in both decades, though.

  • @Dancerpaw Oh.... see, I'm not a 70's- 80's type of girl, I like the 40's so I really don't know the difference. :) But thanks for the fashion tip! Always need them, since I'm in fashion design class. :)

  • Ok Freddie. A little number? But, Queen is famous? He messed up there.

  • la reine n'est plus , longue "vie" a freddie dans ce monde ou nous irons tous...

  • i was listening to this and i look over to see lady gag in the suggestions, how far music has simplified

  • @1717juggalotus Queen fan, sorry that was my cousin talking! We're identical and she hates queen I only like songs.

  • He's ugly. No offense. Freddie is so ugly. His hair. EHH!!

  • @Westiepup101

You are idiot. No offense. You are such an idiot. EHH!!

Seriously, get out of my internet.

  • @czmeph LOSER!!! Learn respect for a ten-year old!

  • @Westiepup101

Thank you for proving my point.

Talking about respect, you should learn to respect certain people, especially those who changed the world in their line of business.

    This conversation is over.

  • @czmeph I do show respect I said NO OFFENSE! Don't you listen. NOW the convo is over stupid dummy loser.

  • @Westiepup101 ...im not meaning to but into youre lovers quarell but even when you say no offense does that mean where not supposed to take offense thats like me saying i hate you no offense of course you would still take offense

  • @Westiepup101 Go back to your Tele tubbies and start listening and discovering Queen about 3 years. Than you come post here.

  • @Westiepup101 But not as ugly as this post of yours.

  • Mister A : Man, that was cool

Mister B : Indeed. Oh, wait... Yep, I just got another eargasm.

Mister A : Just like me. Shall I replay it ?

Mister B : Dude, why are you even ASKING this ?

Mister A : (pressed the "Play" button for the sixth time) So... long live the Queen ?

Mister B : Long live the Queen.

    LONG LIVE THE QUEEN !

  • One of my absolute FAVORITE Queen albums!!

  • Oh.. my god... the guitars. Oh, the guitars..

  • Maravilloso cantente ,pero ademas exelente pienista <3

  • love queen

  • I still have the vinly album, but I always played the black side. Oh,GOD! I never expect THE WHITE QUEEN is so beautiful. It is a crime of igorance. Thanks to YT. and Tommygun.

  • La cagan al no enfocar a Brian May en la parte del solo, es algo que jamas se volvió a repetir

  • @HostiaRecords Da gracias que hay video de esto....

  • Come back Freddie, we are sick of these fake singers !!!

  • delicat litlle number ??

    ?

  • there is just one God in the sky! freddie...

  • 2:48 to 4:32 song of god !!!!!! Fantastic !!! Only QUEEN to do that !

  • one of my favourites - the musical element is perfect - the guitar solo and the drumming are unbeatable

  • While other bands were playing cards waiting around backstage, Queen were doing more complex things, like games of chess and wrestling matches. It was always black Queen this, white Queen that, and blue eyeliner is not a score keeper.

  • Why people like Freddie Mercury always die too soon ?!?!?!?

  • Freddie, "A Little Number Called White Queen". Are you kidding? This is a huge Queen Number!. This song encapsulates everything from a great range of vocals, beautiful lyrics and brilliant guitar solo, with Freddie's passionate accompaniment on piano. It subtlely draws you into a man's desire for a secret woman.

  • Brian May is easily in top 10...Fuck Rolling stone there list are only 62% acurate

  • Brilliant! Queen!

  • Brian really smokes this number!!!!!

  • WHAT A MUSIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • LOVE THIS !! Queen ' White Queen' covered by new band I Am A Camera .. check it out.

  • There was a time I didn't like this song. Now I love it. This live version is largely responsible.

  • What a fucking beauty voice !

  • it's wonderful! everytime that i listen to this song I cry !

  • Too bad the cammeras only focused on Freddie and we don´t get to see the rest of the band (not even in that amazing guitar solo).

But that is one of their best performances I´ve ever seen. "Queen II" is my favorite album, but in the most common DVDs you don´t get any of its songs...

    Thanks for uploading!

  • SImplemente Excelente!

  • One of my favourite songs!

  • I guess it's Queen's song i love the most.

  • But I do agree they should have focused more on Brian during that AMAZING guitar solo.

  • Freddie is the sexiest guy I've ever seen on a piano! LIVE ON, QUEEN!

  • @prettyface146 the sexiest no the piano and not on it too

  • @Qahoa I stand corrected :-)

  • Mmmm still not quite as good as the studio/album version, but LORD HAVE MERCY I BLOODY LOVE THIS SONG!! <3 It's just so earthy and pagan! This, Fairy Feller, and Black Queen are the reasons I call Queen II the Pagan record.

In other words, it's just too beautiful.

  • Why doesn't this have more views? o.o

  • @Werlath because no more people have watched it

  • THIS IS WHITE QUEEN,TAKEN FROM QUEEN 11 (2) ALBUM.

  • 0:00 to 5:31 Epic!

  • Queen II, love it, their best album.

  • this song is so satisfying to play on guitar

  • Wow! Supremely excellent!

  • 3 people love Bieber's gigs

  • 2:46 onwards is purely eargasmic.

  • I have this show courtesy of TommyGun & all I can say is this is absolutely great... you won't be disappointed trust me! Great song!!!!! Great Post!

  • At later concerts Queen never played this anymore.

It's even not on the killer Queen album.

    Does anybody know why?

  • @ettertje01 maybe I'm wrong but don't you mean live killers album? Well they dropped alot of great songs later on in the years.

  • My favourite album of all time.I had 7 copies of it at one time !! Why ?? Because I could I suppose. I think of all the albums I have by many various rock or metal artists this one lets me escape to a place so far away. No other album has the ability to do this for me - not even any Led Zeppelin album. Thank Heaven for You Tube for being able to bring us such musical gems from a band who make such original ,haunting music. Queen II. Such an influencial album for many of todays top rock acts.

  • White and Black Queen - the two most uinderrated masterpieces ever composed.

  • Its a shame the cameraman is a moron and doesen't show Brian during the magnificent guitar work. Other than that this is real fine.

  • Freddie makes the piano look so easy.

  • Perfect.

  • Queen song which is better then teh album version, AWESOME!!

  • Never thought I'd see this live. Incredible pure voice. A precious recording.

  • 2 people are white fools

  • SENDS CHILLS DOWN YOUR SPINE......QUEEN SIMPLY AMAZING!!!!!

  • Freddie the best one

  • immortal freddie !!!

    alive forever!

  • Queen II, the best Album they´re ever did. Love it! Mystic and full of tales and metaphores. Freddie was never better. Cry out loud!

  • @bulsara86 That's my favorite Queen album too. Flawless!

  • @bulsara86

I first saw Queen in 1973 and many times subsequently. I agree with your comment totally. A very perceptive and intuitive post encapsulating everything I, and I'm sure countless others, feel and felt about the band. Well done.

  • @bulsara86 Say Aleluya brother, 'cause you got the truth coming out you!

  • never dreamed to hear this live....nice post ..thanks

  • put this on MTV !! Than there is finally some Quality or Queenity as you wish!!

  • brian may is a remarkable human being.

  • This is an amazing, beautiful song, performed so well.

  • ORGASM!

  • fabulous, Freddie and the boys!

  • brian is a genius.

  • I've had this concert on CD for 10 years and just now have a visual! Thanks for posting!

  • 2:48 to 4:32 MUSICAL ORGASM

    LONG LIVE THE QUEEEEEEN!!!!!

  • @fakurb Summed that up in two words! Thankyou!

  • @fakurb yes!!!

  • lovely song and always the best freddie!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Words cannot express my love for Queen during the 1970s

  • excuse me a brilliant song written by Brian May HELLO? Beautiful guitar solo by Brian May and 'NO' Camera on him! from 2.50 to 4.30 Camera Man should be shot! it annoys me however great version I like this better than the Queen II studio album

  • 37 - 51 secs. is awesome

  • This is so fantastic...chicken skin..this is one of the vew pieces of music that gives a great pysical reaction. This is more!

  • Freddie back then could have been a good Phantom in Phantom Of The Opera. But seriously, no one could ever duplicate his sound. Absolutely the best!

  • @0000snap0000 OMG YES!! Freddie would have been excellent as the Phantom. I can't remember which video but a guy wrote that he claims Freddie sang for Andrew Lloyd Webber in the late '80's. Then Freddie became ill. I asked him questions but he hasn't responded back.

Makes me wonder if Mr. Webber was thinking about Freddie doing Phantom because when the movie came out in 2004 Webber said that he wanted the Phantom to have a rock voice.

  • PRICELESS!! Thanks for sharing it!!!!!

  • Superb!!! I remember first hearing the album Queen ll ... (Anyone remember vinyl)? Personally I still believe that vinyl 'records', have a better and fuller sound quality than compact disc (CD)... Anyway, what intrigued me about Queen ll (apart from the amazing band I was hearing), was that the album wasn't side One and side Two, but - side BLACK and side WHITE!! I also used to have a Queen EP on vinyl which White Queen was on... But that's another story!

  • Perfect

  • Ha Ha 70.000 times and I was the 70000th!

White Queen, black, yellow.brown nobody puts it down.

    bla bla

  • He sounds so great

  • Freddie the Angel is here again.

Got to love him, love him... <3 So sweet and beautifully sang.

  • It's so great! This early music from Queen is the best!! Queen I an Queen II are fantastic!

  • Love the instrumental part God they are still unbeatable.

  • Brian May sounds like hes playin the begining of "Achilles last stand" from Zep

  • @Numnubs777 yes, but Queen wrote this song 2 years before Led Zeppelin released their album Presence which contained Achilles Last Stand.

  • The thing I will hate most about dying is knowing I'll never hear Queen II again.

  • Miss you Freddie !!

  • I began listening to an unknown group called "Queen" when I was quite a young child. It is certainly nice to know that I was able to recognize fine talent even at that age. Thank you so very much for this outstanding video!!!

  • Absolutely astounding!! I was only a child when I began listening to "Queen"; a then, unknown group. It is certainly nice to know that I have always had an appreciation for such fine talent! Thank you for this wonderful memory!!!

  • Queen i Led Zeppelin to raczej inne twórcze płaszczyzny, nie widzę niczego podobnego w White Queen i utworach Zeppelinów

  • This music sounds to me like Led Zeppelin!

  • Awesome video

  • Przepiękne

  • Freddie, my White King

  • nothing compares to this, what a band!!!!!!

  • So pure so....eh Queen. This is the summum

of all musical efforts Queen wil be for ever over 50.000years maybe on other planets they wil listen with great frespect to Queen.
