Will this run games like world of warcraft, starcraft, counter strike source and maybe call of duty 4. @BiggieLSRP you've probably already been told this numerous times since you made this post, but many pc games have special compatibility with xbox360 controls called xinput. along with that compatibility come the button icons for the control on most games with xinput compatibility. so even if the game is on pc, it will show the buttons the same as it would on an xbox.

@Cyclops4770 I was just kidding about removing the PCI lane. about the RAM ddr3 is the best ram you can get. ddr4/ddr5 only exists on graphics cards at the moment. a solid case is the v5 black edition from thermaltake (its about 50$-60$

U.S at the moment) if you're using a bigger graphics card like a 5770 you'll need atleast a 500WATT power supply. if your not maxing out games look for something around 50$/100$ then youll be fine with a 400WATT

@Cyclops4770 My ATI Radeon 4670 can play crysis on high, but not ultra high, which is the highest. you have to see if your board allows ATI, NVIDIA or both. sometimes a board wont accept one of those. and it depends on how big your monitor is you'll need a bigger graphics card to keep up with a bigger monitor.

@Cyclops4770 there are a lot of websites that can match-up your graphics card or monitor with hardware and a game to see which ones right, but for a 22 inch id say a 5770 would be sufficient to max just about any game. my monitor is a 19 inch and my 4670 with a 850 Mhz core clock (it came 750 i overclocked it) and 950 Mhz on the memory does fine. a 5770 has a 800 Mhz Core and 4.8Ghz memory clock. use Catalyst Control center to auto clock it though DO NOT DO IT YOURSELF.

@Cyclops4770 And the difference between GDDR and DDR is that GDDR is pre-disposed to graphical use as opposed to normal RAM. i couldn't give you Technical specs as to how and why because in not sure, but you can use Google for that if you want to know exactly how GDDR is better.

I have a PNY 1GB DDr3 9800GT, and i get really, really, REALLY Bad fps in crysis! Around 10-20! Maybe its cause i have a 1.81GHz quad. But still.

Also, i only have like 50GB left on my 4502GB HDD, will that effect it? also, i tried to install new drivers, but that sort of failed.

clear up some more room on ur hard drive. make sure your power supply is at least 550w+ and if its still slow, buy a new graphics card and install it urself.

If it's PCI-E, (sounds like it is) should work, as long as it's not a slim case and has a decent power supply.

There's cards that are made to not need a lot of power and still be good for games too.
