  • I'm Dutch and I love it :D

  • I take offence, they totally left out our pot & kiddie porn culture, not to mention the incessant need to whine on how everything is too expensive, and our national pass times: white collar crime & the idolatry of soccer stars

Zìs ìs jûst tìpikàl fèt, wòrmongering àmééricàn próópágàndá

I love the Frantics. Loved this sketch too, and yes, I'm Dutch. Almost fell from my chair laughing the first time I saw it.

I remember the first sketch I ever heard : "I shot Bambi's mother." I almost drove the car off the road that morning from laughing so hard.

It's great to find them here on youtube.

  • Leuke video

  • although Hans Binker is famous in any country BUT the netherlands its still very good.

  • Everyone knows Hansje Brinker! It's honest-to-goodness Dutch folklore!

  • Funny thing is... Hans Brinker was made-up by... either a Canadian or an American, I think.

  • Seriously? *check wikipedia* Hey yeah, it says so right here, written by an American! Weird, because my (Dutch) father used to tell me that story. Hey, now that I read on, it turns out the specific story (about the boy with his finger in the dyke) wasn't even about Hans Brinkers. SO WEIRD.

  • @realphake bit belated. The story is american, it does not exist in Holland. I only heard about it when I moved from to Canada when I was thirty. Your father must've thought it was cute and so he told you the story about the boy stopping a flood with his finger! LOL. As we Dutch know what dikes really look like, sloped & very broad, 100 ft or so, the story is very silly. To stop a dike breach you need a mountain of sandbags! Dikes in Holland are not like walls.

  • @sagittaep Besides, the real strength of a dyke is under the ground, not in the wall itself. I learned a lot about my little childhood story.

    Also: thread necromancer.

  • Thanks for the supporting act ;-)

  • This video makes me enjoy being alive. Thank G*d for the Frantics :-D

  • there's gotta be more frantics, four on the floor schtick then this. This is classic. Good to see it agian.

  • Hahahaha I'm Dutch and everything they said is true!

  • Except they were gay... Then again, maybe that's just me. I don't like cheese either, so...

  • Nope. Not gay. I think yer mistaking this with Brokeback Canal. Completely different Dutch cowboy movie.

  • The Frantics are classic CanCon. thanks for puting it up!
