In 1987, India was asked by the Soviets to pressure Pakistan off their backs in Afghanistan, and they complied by moving forces planned to attack Skardu but the ISI stole their entire war plan helping Pakistan Army outmaneuver them. 'India lost war to Pakistan without firing a single shot' writes Ravi Rakhiye. We had Soviet planes bombing the northern Pakistan, Peshawar rocked everyday with a bomb, but Pakistan of Zia made it thru. Look at us now, cornered and skewered.
i remember what fun we used to have in our class room using this 50-50 class room as a guide.
