my favorite band of the time when I listened to BBC when I lived in Germany. They were way cooler than the Ventures to me - I had all their singles (still do!) and could never understand what Cliff Richard had to do with them -- thanx for finding the clip

If memory serves me right, someone asked Bruce Welch (rhythm player) in an interview about how the Shadows footwork came about. And I think Bruce's answer was something like....well your feet need something to do while your playing the guitar. Nuff said.

Been looking for the whole clip of this for ages..just amazing. Nice quality too considering. Tony's rockin' in the background,Jet cool as ever plus it sounds like Hank's gotta bit of Vibrato'noise on the end along with the classic echo. Priceless, need more of these clips!
