I buy mine at Blick's Art Materials for approx. $1.25. They are worth their weight in gold! I prefer the "click" type but I have used the unravel-string type in the past. Any good art supply will sell them...I've even seen varieties at office supply stores such as Staples.
Another amazing example of charcoal drawing, I'm impressed with the iris of the eye and the reflection in the eyes pupil, cheers for this as it's given me an idea for using charcoal on my drawings.
