I have no idea if the Ukranian one says something different but the English one says that her first language is Romanian and that she was born in the Ukraine. I'm pretty sure the Russian one says something similar because i skimmed through it. Judging by her full name she probably is of mixed nationalities. She grew up in Chernivtsi so that's probably why she speaks Ukranian well.

Russians murdered Ivasiuk the composer of this Ukrainian song because he refused to write songs in Russian!!!

You Russians go and sing Stenka Razin and Kalinka!!! There are lots of Ukrainians in Moldova and Sofia is one of them!!!!

Ukrainians in Moldova and Sofia is one of them - ?

even though it's Russian TV, it's a great Ukrainian song. It's a shame that the Russians claim it as one of their songs.

how can they claim it their own when it's sang in the Ukrainian language?
