  • ukraine peopl=russia peopl...

  • Ponad wszystko Ukraińska czerwona ruta-ole ole ole!!!!

  • ona horosho soset ya sleshal

  • Russians murdered Ivasiuk the composer of this Ukrainian song because he refused to write songs in Russian!!!

  • You Russians go and sing Stenka Razin and Kalinka!!! There are lots of Ukrainians in Moldova and Sofia is one of them!!!!

  • Ukrainians in Moldova and Sofia is one of them - ?

  • Go to "Mandry-Ne Spy Moya Ridna Zenla" on youtube!

i-am vazut, mult sentiment. Nu mai vorba despre Sofia Rotaru.

    ***

Sofia Rotaru fusese, era si va fi nostra moldoveanca!!!

  • Only a Ukrainian could have the beautiful diction that Sofia has.You may say that she's Moldovian, but we know she's Ukrainian!

  • Go to "Mandry-Ne spy Moya Ridna Zemla" on youtube!!!

  • I have no idea if the Ukranian one says something different but the English one says that her first language is Romanian and that she was born in the Ukraine. I'm pretty sure the Russian one says something similar because i skimmed through it. Judging by her full name she probably is of mixed nationalities. She grew up in Chernivtsi so that's probably why she speaks Ukranian well.

  • It didn't post but I did post the Russian and Ukranian wikipedia links to Sophia Rotaru's biography.

  • her first language is ukrainian n she speaks ukrainian way better than russian

  • Yes, It's famous ucrainian song. Rotaru is unique!

  • even though it's Russian TV, it's a great Ukrainian song. It's a shame that the Russians claim it as one of their songs.

  • how can they claim it their own when it's sang in the Ukrainian language?

  • amazing performance, amazing song and sound
