@MrMariodave Not sped up but the pitch is raised a bit. It was the only way for me to upload this video without it getting blocked due to copyright reasons.
good job pssybart, that's the spirit! i miss channel 4's late night monster movies. loads of 'ho-hos from to-ho'. favourite characters - jet jaguar, ebirah and mothra.
Pssybart, in the movie 'Ed Wood' of director Tim Burton you will find more footage of 'It Conquered the World' including visible nylon strings and two-by-four. Ed Wood is the director of this film and many other great B-movies from the fifties.
Zappatastic - this made me smile. I heard this track and Frank's monologue years ago, but this is the first time I've seen the movie he was berating . . .excellent :-)
Heard it first 20 years ago on friend's cassette player in Finland. Quality was so bad so one could not really copy it. I was hunting this tune for decades simply not knowing where was it from. Then recently I learnt it was on "Roxy".
Frank Zappa was a genius although I always say it's music for people with strong nerves. ;-)
thank you for this video! I have wondered for many years what this monster ("sort of an inverted ice cream cone, with teeth around the bottom") looked like.
so great! i love that you used the star trek ep. with the gorn...is that the name of it? anyway, one of my fave cheesy (and they made a lot of 'em) episodes. fab editing, just a wonderful job!
Great Montage Work!

@Phonygram wrong. this movie is a roger corman
halloranedward 3 weeks ago in playlist zap one
@halloranedward It conquered the World' is indeed a Roger Corman movie.
But the missing sequence might very well come from an Ed Wood film.
Zappa might have zapped between different B-movies.
Thanks!
