  • that was sexy =D

  • @ jscandzac The flame warms the air inside the glass, the air expands and escapes from the glass leaving it with less air than before.Once all of the remaining oxygen is consumed by the fire it goes out.The heating stops, the heat is transmitted to the environment, the air inside the glass cools down and retracts and now there is a difference in pressure between the inside and outside air,so the liquid is pressed into the glass from the outside air until the two pressures equalize.

  • @LykosLy no, the vacuum is right, you fail sir

  • the reason this happens is because fire needs O2 (oxygen) in order to stay ablaze. the reason the liquid is "magicly forced into the cup" is because the fire is trying to suck O2(oxygen) into the cup so the fire may live... some ppl are soo stupid, this is common sense!!

  • Yay, you have the same ugly plates as me!

  • wow

  • that is awesome.! i want to try it!

  • tha magic of a vaccum =]

  • uhhmm, for a physics project, what will you call this trick???

  • SWEET

  • lol thats awsome!!

  • Is it cuz the fire uses up oxygen and kind of an air suction thing happens?

  • cool
