I'm wondering why they didn't refer to this as a hemangioma. There are some excellent doctors in the US who specialize in treating vascular abnormalities. I'm sure that they would be helpful to her surgeons, who don't seem to have much experience in these cases. Of course, hemangiomas are best treated in childhood. There's no reason to let them continue to grow like that.
When I see these it always makes me wonder how these people waited this long to have something like this checked out. I mean, after the first sign of a tumor wouldn't you immediately go to a doctor? Even if you did have money problems waiting that long is a really bad idea.
