this show looks like a mix between Buso Renkin, Full Metal Alchemist, Zoids, and Naruto. most of these shows were fucking amazing actually i only hate Naruto

We had all the good stuff back then but there was a movement of women in the later 80's that wanted such violent cartoon's off the air, they kept saying that the violence in the cartoons was creating violent children, I kinda disagree with it. What it created was obesse kids after the shows were taken out we had a fat epidemic on our hands.

The moment I listened to this song I finished the rest of the season straight through. Like people said before Mai Hime is pretty emotional and incredibly hard to predict. Definitely left me hanging on the edge of my seat till the very very very end.
This show gets fucked up near the end, and as always Kajiura's music makes the battles totally epic. From the gunfights in Noir and Tsukasa's rampages in .hack//Sign to the HiME battles. I fell in love with this song the moment it appeared in the anime.
I got the idea that she was sort of like Miyu in Mai Hime...Mashiro uses her for protection because her body is weak. I think Fumi (the maid?) was probably sent by whoever governed Mashiro's actions in the same way that Miyu was sent by whoever governed Alissa's actions...In the end, maybe Fumi wanted to stay with Mashiro.
She is a HiME too, and the person she loves the most is the Crystal (the girl on a wheel chair) mmm and maybe the crystal is her child? I don't really know but I think that's it and that would make sens of how is that she didn't go to fight in that momment
Originally, this series was a hentai. You can tell because there is every single kind of love in it. Brother complex, Unrequited, Lesbian, One-sided Lesbian, and the whole "Trust Love" thing.
I know if I ask if this is a good anime then I'm going to get bias answers so instead I'll ask what specifically about this show will make it worth my time?
will i don't know about you but the also fighting great story tests and all the different love story. was will as the diffrent meanings of love made this a great story.
Overall the series is a fan service. However it's good basis is plot development without sacrifice on character development. You'll find that some of the episodes could go missing and you'd have never noticed however and I find that it's major Achilles heel.
The early episodes dont speak for the story developement much, with pebbles put here and there to show veiwers that it was not totally without story, but just a way to fall in love with the characters.
In the 1st episode, the last HiME (Mai, Mikoto, Shiho) are brought to the school. Nagi makes sure that each girl finds her Child. He summons orphans, to acquaint the HiME with their powers.
The Searrs Foundation gets involved, wanting the HiME power for themselves and already having created the 13th girl. (Freeing Mikoto for the finale.) They also release orphans to find all the girls.
After defeating Alyssa the actual "Festival" begins; all pieces are set.
good job, two more paragraphs and you would have summarized the entire story.
The anime carries almost every fan service. Big tits, school girls, mechinized like fighting, magic, groping, shower scenes, summer festivals, ect. The anime was good, but it was fan service.
I love the part when it shows Akira doing the hand signs and Natsuki jumping off the building to fall into the ice. It fit the music perfectly, especially the falling into the ice part.
Nice! This song is absolutely superb and this one is similar with one of the soundtracks of the secret blue water... So ur a naruto, Lucky Star And my-hime lover too well.. I am too.. cool! u rock!

I really like this song, and I have never heard of this anime before today. It looks like something I would like a lot though. I like giant robots, cute chicks and lasers, this seems to have all of those things. I will check it out thanks for the heads up! Peace and keep up the fantastic work!

it doesnt change their body. its like summoning them up. and, in case that thing u see as an "robot" dies, the person which is represent dies. if u think thats lame... you shouldnt judge anything b4 u watched it on ur own...
btw: there IS an video game about it (for PS2) but i don't really know anything about it, except that the soundtrack is awesome aswell (don't know if there are songs from kajiura yuki, but there are songs from yousei teikoku).

How do you make Amv's? I can only make a video thats like a power point presentation. I have to edit the pictures in myself but how do you get it to animate on your computer like this?
to make amvs you need a program like windows moviemaker or nero's moviemaker. From there you just add the video/picture/music files to the actual project then cut/edit what you want and don't want in it.
i always Understand "kami rette mich" (kami= jap. for god... so God rescue me? oO)
but some of her songs are also in a language she made up for herself, some are in german, latin, spanish, english and some japanese... and because her voice goes well with the music, its very hard to tell the words she's singing oO
That is, in my opinion, the best music from the anime. Great job on the video as well.
