  • Absolutely beautiful. What a lovely idea to record it on the beach. Please, please, please record Jobim's "Wave" with the same background!!

  • hi vivopermusica,

    thank you for the comment.

i would like to record more on the beach, but unfortunately i don't live near the beach ( i used to). i'll try it in the next vacation.

  • Great! Thanks for your reply. I really look forward to that. Best wishes from England.

  • Very inspirated vidéo !! good création.. the sea play the bass and sometimes the birds sing with you. It's so cool ...thank you for this moment

  • hi rootstai,

    thank you for the comment.

    yes nature's sound is amazing.

i'm just adding a little noise to them.

  • beautifully done!! very touching

  • thank you.

  • GREAT!

  • thank you!

  • ...like a scene from a Godard nouvelle-vague movie

  • the rythm of the ocean trough bossa nova...very good ambient...good one akamine

  • muito obrigado paulo.

i'm glad to hear such a coment from a guitar teacher.

    thank you

  • Marvellous sir!

I love the sound of the rollers in the background.

I would like to try this myself...but the North Sea makes a bigger sound than my guitar!

    Sub'd.

    Paul

  • hi gangly,

    thank you for the comment.

yes the sea was very quiet, i even didn't think that i could capture the wave sounds this much.

you have an intersting chanel, i'll check it too.

  • I enjoyed the peaceful atomosphere which your guitar with the sound of waves and birds' singing had prodeced.

I want to go to Okinawa (It is still cold in Kanagawa).

  • hi helibossa,

    thank you for the comment.

well, okinawa might be cold on the beach right now. this one is recorded in summer time.

so as watching this one, it makes me "saudade" as well.

i like your play very much.

  • Oh, how wonderful! Everything's perfect. Thanks for taking me to Okinawa, Brother! I love it!

    -Julie

  • thanks sister.

    hide

  • Hide! So wonderful to see and hear you on a beach, and I agree with the others that the softness, the low volume and the slow tempo sets a lovely mood along with the waves and birds. Where is this beach? Please tell us, inquiring minds need to know!

  • hi reallyharried,

    thank you for the comment.

you sound not really harried man :-)

yes, people i didn't mean to hide.

this is on okinawa island; my home town.

    beautiful beach and beautiful wind...

  • very pleasant and sweet, totally bossa nova spirit :)

  • hi bossatonin,

thak you for your nice comment.

i'm so glad that other bossa nova musician gives me words to my music.

  • I think the idea of recording outdoor is fantastic and you certainly captured a beautiful sound of wave...I would have loved to hear the piece played completely ad lib over the sound of the wave rather than excruciatingly slow and slightly loose bossanova...Also, I thought the sound of the wave could be pushed further back to bring out some of the subtleties in your playing.

  • hi jawdim,

    thank you for the comment.

yes i agree to the most of things you told.

i just couldn't do that way though, you know.. :-)

after swiming hours and just with one movie cam, the microphone was built-in and etc.

only one thing.. i know it's much slower than gilberto's or other famous recordings, but that was my interpretation to this song and i really wanted that way.

  • Very nice .good as always .you are.

    B & W + beutifull background+ beutifull melodie

Best wishes for you from your City

  • hi wertberlin,

thank you for the comment from my city.

    how's there?

  • Very nice! How about posting Jobims "Wave" with the same back ground?

    Best wishes from Germany, Frank.

  • hi frank,

    thank you for the comment.

what about your pices, instead of jobim's?

i'm seriously interested to practice your compositions.

  • hey, man, that's really sweet. thanks for sending my way.

  • hi troubleclef,

    thank you very much.

it's so nice to have a comment from you.

  • hi akamine, where is this beautiful beach? nice arrangement and great performance!

    thanks

  • hi vidiov,

i knew you're gonna like it, because of birds singing :-)

i just understood why you play many times outside, birds really sings with guitar.

  • hi hidetoshi,

The volume seems a bit low , the location seems to be great ntl Keep it up

  • hi soniameh,

    thank you for the comment.

yes, i coldn't control the volume of the wave :-)

try listning with headphone maybe it's little better.

  • i think the low volume adds to the mood why everything has to be loud?

  • great! this is one of my favourite songs, really liked the outdoor atmosphere. great idea :)

  • hi delfin,

    thank you for the comment.

yes this song is somehow happy and somehow sad. and birds, wave and everyone played in that feeling verry well.

  • yes jobim really is one of my favourite composers. do you play 'luiza' by him?

i love this piece. good to see you doing many artistic and adventurous things, the music lives in you brother

  • luiza is another nice song. and jobim himself sang that. i haven't try it yet. maybe next song to practice.

  • hi hide, hisashiburi dane :)

i like your playing! And i also know your other Corcovado version but that´s right, it is another atmosphere with this one, that makes me feel good! hope to see more of your works!

    take care my friend!!!

  • hi shingetsu,

that's right, i have another version.

probably that one is better play, but without sounds of wave and birds singing...

that what this song should have.

    thanks a lot

  • Very good...nice play...melody is well with the quietness of the landscape and the sound of waves...

  • thank you acemucky,

    i knew you're gonna like it! :-)

so pleasure to receive such a poetic comment.

  • Great video ! Where did you record it ?

    I like your playing !

    cheers,

    wolfgang

  • hi verci,

thank you for a nice comment always.
