But isn't that against the old vinyl LP laws it says on most of the covers recording or copying this is illegal? as in the ld days you were not really supposed to copy onto a cassette and surely this is the same thing, and its on mainstram TV telling you how do do it, and yet The Pirate Bay is illegal?
when im recording a track there is no audio coming from the right speaker. could somebody please help me figure out what is wrong and what i can do to fix it? thank you
This video shows connecting the turntable to the microphone input of the computer. That is not correct! If the turntable has a built-in pre-amp, it must connect to the line level aux input, which is typically a blue colored jack. If the turntable does not have a built-in pre-amp, then you need to use one, and then connect the pre-amp's output to the computer's aux input. In either case, using the microphone jack (red color) is incorrect and will result in distorted sound!
If you do that you rely on a computer-processed sound. When you want to preserve vinyl quality, you have to read it with a needle as vinyls have frequency written inside there is no computer conversion or something.
Using a phone - 3.5mm adaptor doesnt work!
I have a lot of vinyl (and some of it isn't available on mp3/cd) so I am transferring it PROPERLY and I plan on making a video on it.

Personally, I would just buy the songs I have on vinyl from iTunes or Amazon MP3.
