  • When of the best scenes on T.V. ever. Roger got his for hitting on Draper's wife.

  • Always liked Rosemary Clooney. Draper is a stud.

  • can anybody please tell me what song is playing in the background? that piano melody is magical!!!

  • it's a version of the intro of the show

  • 3:37 - That's me after walking up the stairs in my house... -looks at cigarette- What have you done to me?

  • Was eating when he got sick...what good timing.

  • I LOVE this whole episode. Revenge for hitting on his wife. I liked how Don looked when he was walking away after he vomited. The look of victory.

  • @Tigerlily21 ooo I never really picked up on that before! thanks for the observation

  • am i the only one who cracks up everytime i see roger throw up? i can't stop laughing!

  • 4:40

  • "I love red heads" lmao

  • I love that scene:3 It's such a sweet Don's revenge on Roger picking up Betty at dinner...

  • the sad part is some unfortunate janitor had to clean that up

  • That puke just looked so REAL! I thought John Slattery had given us a genuine upchuck.

But it was just another special effect. Damn.

  • He didn't entice the elevator guy, it was meant to be coincidental. Earlier in the episode, a drunk Sterling blatantly comes onto Draper's wife and then offers a rather backhanded (non)apology for his behavior. The stair climbing scene serves not only as Sterling's comeuppance but also as a Darwinian metaphor signifying Draper's virility over Sterling's weakness. Hence the long stare Roger gives Don when he asks him if he's okay...and the smirk on Draper's lips as he turns and walks away.

  • @Boeyack1 "Darwinian metaphor?" Wow you're really full of crap. Get a life.

  • I don't remember the episode, how do we know that Don planned this?

  • @spamdude1

    Watch from about :32

As Don walk away, he casts a little glance back at the elevator boy and waves with his hat, and then we get a closeup of the boy looking a little like he just did something dishonest. It's subtle but pretty convincing to me.

  • @dlweiss and in addition to that if you watch the episode its the seventh, first season you can see that a couple of minutes before this scene don pays the elevator guy to do sth. so its clearly dons intention.

  • @Pravoizavlijesvijeta yeah i told this to my bf and he didn't believe me

  • @Pravoizavlijesvijeta OH really? wow, maybe I shouldn't have been playing solitaire on the side while I watched this season, I missed so many little details!

  • I am a cool and easygoing woman naneedj.info

  • i'd vomit after 23 floors...

  • i fucking love this scene. i fucking love this show

  • Man, Roger's oyster-puke, Freddy Rumsen's urine, Guy McKendrick's bloody foot - some carpet-cleaning firm is making lotsa money servicing Sterling-Cooper!

  • @vonbontee You can't forget Duck's shit

  • @IDF1987 I can try!

  • In the '60's making it is what the stairs were for.

  • omg! just watched this episode last night! when Roger barfs i couldn't stop laughing

  • i wonder how joan would've reacted had she seen this ..

  • Watching this scene again I can actually say this is one of the most brilliant moments of television I've ever seen.

  • Do you think Roger realizes that Don set him up?

  • @beepandbop Not a chance! Don is a genius.

  • what a whiny bitches!

  • Don Draper has a way at getting back those, without them realising it. He is one shrewed Person.

  • Don Draper is just gangster

  • classic.

  • they could have used use the service elevator

  • everybody wants to be don draper even me and im a chick........roger sterling silver fox..don...is hot

  • Lights a cigarette while going up the stairs. I love it.

  • @mijreed Stand behind me with that thing will ya?

  • lol 4:39 wierdest noise ever.

  • Don pulled this stunt to get even with Roger for hitting on Don's wife. It had nothing to do with showing how out of shape Roger was.

  • Roger so had it coming. What a lowlife he is.

  • Mr. Draper is one smooth bastard.

  • LOL! What a Dick.

  • I love the fact that he lights up.

  • Hollis: "I'm waiting for service"

Roger: "So am I. What are you talking about?"

    gets me every time

  • This is by far my favorite episode featuring Roger Sterling. . classic!!!

  • 4:27 all the way - never fails to kill me.

  • "My names on the building, they can wait for me! " Yeah baby!

  • I missed the part that implied that it was Don's plan.

  • oysters. I like the way he said that.

  • This was the most excellent and subtle revenge. This is why I'm a big fan of Mr. Draper.

  • It shouldn't have happened. Don can cheat on his wife and he gets back at Roger for hitting on hois wife? What a show!

  • The thing is that Roger and Don are friends. Unfaithful as you may be, your best friend's wife is a no-go area.

Perhaps even any wife, I think. Even the otherwise despicable Jimmy Barret called on Don for that on season two. "You want to step out? Fine, go to a whore. You don't screw another man's wife."

  • @zoeydebra - if Roger gets in the sack with Don's wife that make's Don a cuckold. No self respecting man, no matter how unfaithful, will stand for being a cuckold. Hence, Don meted out some indirect punishment to Roger for his transgression.
