i know jack's a good man, but, looking at It Might Get Loud, I realised that, when it came to the three guitarists involved, jimmy page was all about the affection, the edge was all about the effects, and jack white is all about the affectations. he's jeff lynne, he's dave stewart, donovan - he's a fan, standing on the shoulders of giants. but, hey, that can still result in a good time. every now and then.

In my opinion it was trying to compare apples ( Page & White) to oranges ( the edge) however still understanding they are all fruit......
