You're either German or in America. In the American versions this is a bug that can be fixed with a patch found on the games website, if you're German it's meant to be censored like that.

Man I've played the game 2x and have only seen the dagger finishing move one time.

It's 18+ for violence, profanity, nudity, and adult themes.

Finishing moves are done on stunned players.

One of the best animations is the powered-up group style were he whirlwinds with two swords-- that's tight.

Favorite finishing move in this game is when you've knocked down an enemy, and Geralt stabs his sword into the ground beside him, jumps onto the enemy, and draws a dagger. He then stabs multiple times before calmly getting up, and sheathing the dagger, and taking his sword back.

Nevermind, i downloaded a non-censor patch, which restored all the finishing moves to their original bloody gory. I highly recommend it.

but i miss two finishing moves, for me, the best two:

1.)when opponent is laying on the ground, Geralt grabs the sword contrariwise so he is holding the blade and slash the cross-guard into poor victim's neck

2.)when opponent is on the ground, Geralt rises the sword up on high, and stabs it right next to the victim, draws a dagger and starts to stab him everywhere around the chest...
