I've used this set up asw ell. Trick to the middle tie off is a ball of twine (any garden centre). Tie one end to tarp eyelet, throw the ball over a branch, and tie off. Simples. By the way get a ball of hemp twine, you can unpick half a meter or so to make a cracking ball of tinder that takes a spark easily.

Couldn't quite see where the middle of the middle tie out is hung too, a tree or off to the ground, very nice mate

Hi there. That really is a great set up you've got there buddy, I'm really impressed with that. Were you using the 3 x 3m DD tarp or the 3 x 4.5m??
