The price of Krispy Kreme donuts used to be very cheap until they went global. I remember when you could buy them in bulk for fundraisers for $2.00 (US) a dozen and resell them for $2.50 a box...Not any more.

the launched a store here in Montreal, Canada a few years back..you would think it was the coming of Christ..it was insanely ridiculous..miles of lined up cars..people freaking out..all over a donut..the novelty sooned died off and that particular store closed down, and then they opened one outside of the city in some obsure middle of nowhere place

Its amazing how so many people made such a big deal every time a new location opened. You'd think its was the opening of an Apple Store LOL. Krispy Kreme was founded here in the Greensboro/Winston-Salem area of North Carolina. I'm 30 years old and have been eating these donuts since I was a toddler. My mom is 61 years old and has been eating them since she was a little girl. Krispy Kreme is nothing new to us.
