That was really sweet. I had a dog and cat that were extremely close friends, and when the dog was dying from cancer, the cat would never be more than a couple of feet away and guarded him from other dogs, risking his own life. When the dog died, I thought the cat would die, too. He hardly ate for three weeks, and he was never the same. When he finally passed on, I buried him near the dog's grave so they can always be together.
