If you listen to her ex's songs ("one last time", "bad taste in my mouth" or "i already miss you")

you may think as if it's all about our katie.

What does it mean? Because when she says "I'd love to say is" it could mean both; either I would love to say it is about luke, but itsn't or I would love to say it is but for some reasons I can't? But as a big fan of both Katie and The kooks, as you say "one last time" and so one suggest that's about their relationship.

I don't think this one is for Luke because the lyrics have been written by Andrea McEwan. However I'm pretty sure she wrote the song "Piece by Piece" for him...

She says "sort of...nice love song, but it's not" Sort of just means a bit like or nearly the same as. It is not an important word for the meaning of the sentence. Hope that helps. Hope you have a good dictionary.

I was truly disappointed in 'Pictures' just seems like the worst tracks of each previous album sung over and over again, without even varying the backing track. Really disappointing, and gives the impression she had to churn out a record under terms of her contract. Her heart's just not in it. If she does another one like this, her career will finish, which would be such a shame.

Well in my opinion anyway, I think Pictures was one of the best albums from her. The songwriting could have been a lot better, yeah, but I can see a lot of development on the musical part, too.
