  • I love your videos because you tell it like it is! Prices in the US can be pricey enough without overseas shipping and exchange rates.

  • Thank you for your rant/review. I was going to order, but with that shipping I may have to find some friends who want to order so the shipping won't be so much.

  • i agree with what u say about the products being pricey, but that's not really a review of the actual product u used. U spend nearly 7 mins whining about the cost of everything. Really?!

  • @ddsurvivor11

If you look at the title, it says review/RANT.

  • @Charzboss

I can read just fine. Thanks. U're video is not a REVIEW. It's just a RANT= waste of internet space.

  • @ddsurvivor11 Arguing on the internet is like running in the Special Olympics. Even if you win, you're still retarded.

  • OK, I live in the UK and we have exactly the same problem with ordering products from the US - the SHIPPING. I tried to order some products the total came to $16 and the shipping was $50 I was like hell no! but I did order something from ebay from the US and the shipping was $9.Anita's stuff is really pricey I have to say unneccessarily I think and I had a bad experience with her Customer services so the only thing I order from her is the deep conditioner

  • @CathFerook

BY THE I AM FROM THE UK LOL

  • LMAO!!!!!!!

  • I'm glad some one is telling the truth! I'll stick to my U.S. brands; besides that Etsy has too many sellers offering better products at great prices...why I mentioned Etsy, I just love that site!!!

  • I love your reviews! I went to order Boots Curl Creme and it was 5 pounds or so to ship which I thought was kind of high (I don't order much from overseas). The creme was 2 pounds or so...so I don't understand why AG is so high!

I do imagine they have to pay more to ship from the USA as well.

  • Aww thanks. I think that maybe they don't have Business shipping class like other larger companies. Not sure, I need to look into it.

  • I also love your reviews! I agree about shipping. I went to order the Boots Curl Creme and it was 5-7 pounds to ship..product was like 2-3 pounds. All told it was going to be about 12-15USD for an 8oz container. I don't know why AG is so high--$40 is way too much for that small amount of product!

  • How do you like the Boots Curl Cream BTW? Is it all natural?

  • I love your honesty, and that you do the more natural stuff, cuz that is all I use!!

  • Aww thanks, what kinda products do you use?

  • Wash: Chargain Valley Natural Shampoo bars Coditioners: Yes to Cucumber & yes to tomatoes Trader joe's N&S Leave-ins: Jane Cater Revitalizing LI Conditioner Giovanni Direct LI Conitioner Karen's body beautiful Hair Milk Qhemets Burdock root & the Amla heavy cream I mix my own Deep Cond. with Indain Herbs and whip my own shea butter. But I'm scooping AO HoneySuckleRose, Afroveda, & a few others, so I really like the way you do your videos :O)
  • Thank you!

Girl you are using so many leave-ins that I would love to try. I plan on buying the Burdock Root again during the BF sale she is having. I tried it before, and I need to try it again! How do you like the Hair Milk?

  • I use them all for different things, I personally won't be repurchasing the Hair Milk. Its smells wonderful, its nice and light, but I get better moisture with other products, which cost less. Its $16 The Jane Cater Revit. is the best detangler ever! its $9

The Giovanni is a soild everyday leave-in its $7

I just got the qhemets so I'm still trying it figure out how to use them best.

  • I just bought the Jane Carter Direct Leave-in due to your recommendation! I'll let yah know how it turns out!

  • Thanks. I'm gonna try that. That is really high. I wouldn't mind the cost so much, but dealing with british pounds sterling, exchange rates, customs, waiting so long for your product and then I heard some people get a fee from their credit card companies for the exchange. That's too much hassle. I say just take my money, give me my product and I'm good. (:

  • Same girl, shoot thats why I had to make my bootleg version!

  • Your make up looks good. I'm watching your video on my blackberry so I couldn't hear all that well. Did u say u tried that rhassoul(?) Deep conditioning brick thing she makes? If so, how did it work?

  • Aww thanks gurl! Nah I have not tried it, its 90 bucks! I just kinda make my own, all you need is some rhassoul clay and some cocoa butter, mix it with some coconut milk over the stove and DC with it. Not for too long because it will get tough to remove from your hair. But it is very moisturizing because of the clay.

  • I think its because Anita Grant is an indie company. I don't think she uses Business postage or whatever its called.

Haha! The funny thing is that I get a lot of my products from the US and I keep crying about the $40+ shipping (those bleeding USPS flat rate boxes are VERY expensive) I have to pay, nevermind the VAT tax when it gets into the country.

  • Thanks girl for setting me straight. I understand now, you prolly have to pay a premium as a company to get Business postage, and that is dependant on volume.

I LOVE ordering lush from the UK, and the VAT gets taken off my order!

  • No problem!

I love every other product by AG but the butters and conditioner (the cocoa/coffee scent makes me ill and I can simply get rhassoul clay for cheaper), her pomade is incredible.
