  • how does that work? please explain

  • you could put dyson out of business if you deveeloped a vacuumm cleaner using ion wind

  • so what?

  • That is an awesome little experiment. Would it be possible to make one powerful enough to get some air time? Or would the components weigh too much and the thrust be too weak?

  • @rigamortis1066 Both actually it would weight too much and it could never produce enough thrust to lift anything. This is what the "bladeless" fans use now days, it can make a nice little breeze but not much else

  • how hot is it

  • I dont get it...

  • show how you made it

  • how2 plzz

  • i try to learn how to build a ion wind and i saw your video

can you explain how can i do this or do you have a circuit diagram i understand i need a high voltage transformer and i can found it in a monitor but i dont know what is it look like and i need a 555 timer but i dont know how can i put them together. i'm an control engineer and i can understand circuit diagram. can you please send me circuit diagram or prepare a video about how to do it ? thanks.

  • @kontrolog if you have any luck could you pass it on to me please? Thanks

  • hey can you tell me how you did this? i just need a simple step by step list and parts uses. thanks! awesome vid i will subscribe, love your vids!

  • is that how the dyson fan works?

  • @IndoTribe no, the Dyson fan is a little smoke and mirror it is an air amplifier, it has afan blade in the base, the air enters the ring and runs through a "venturi" for lack of a better word and then creates vacuums behind and around the ring causing the air to increase in speed.

  • thats some nag-chompa huh

  • Jetijs atkal zažegajet ! Tā starp citu - Daudz laimes dzimenē ;)

  • Ko ta es, es jau neko :)

    Paldies!

  • Tad sanāk šis bezskaņas aparāts? Tad jau var meiģināt dzesēt šādi datoru. :D

  • @CeleronS1

Šņāc gan maita biku un pūtienam īsti baigās jaudas nav, pārāk daudz arī tērē, lai aizstātu ventilatoru :)

  • Cool!

I wonder how this would affect your car consumption if you put this at the air intake... Assuming that Ionised air is electrically charged, the combustion might be more efficient i.e. complete..? Just a thought.

  • @FeelFree888 when you burn you make a reaction where carbon and oxygen put their electrons in common (just a rough explanation). Ionised gases have the electrons stripped away, so it wouldn't do any good.

  • @DarkTemp0 , OK, sorry, I thought it was the other way around, i.e. ionising would add electrons, not strip them out.

    Thanks for the reply!

  • @FeelFree888 even if it would add electrons it wouldn't do any good.:)

You are better of giving more oxygen to make a complete burn

  • very nice, where did you find the plans

  • very nice, high five!

  • Nju smukiņi :) :) :)

man padomā vel divas efektīvas šēmiņas ar ko to verķi kustināt, bet smuki pūš :)

  • Respekts vecīt!

  • nice thruster-try a van der graff type setup with a hair dryer or hot air gun.....

  • excellent demo.

  • cool
