it's quicker than using a wire an needle, but it's less clean (to me it is) cause we can see a kind of half braid when the job is done.. you have the upper part of it and a little one under... don't know if anyone can understand what I'm rying to explain, but anyways...
Just what I'm thinking, but it's a good and quick way.. If I have less time or whatever, I'll use it for shure ^^
I HAVE A QUESTION! When cutting the yarn, the part that has been cut (the end peices) how do you cut the yard but also NOT cut the end peice? like if i have my yarn, and i wrapped it around my elbow (like you did) and im ready to cut it, how do i cut it without cutting the end peice too?
Cool, thanks, I was wondering how those kind of braids were done. I usually just use rubber bands, but i might try out your way just for kicks :) Do you recon it's an American way to braid, lol? Most Europeans seem to be partial to sewing their braids.
for the forelock, you could just put the braid through the top, then it looks cleaner instead of making a button, since the buttons arnt usually at the forelock. but your braids looks very neat :) thanks for the video!
I think this is the most complicated way of plaiting i've ever seen lol

@lammas there hunter braids, its the way most hunters in north America braid for small shows. but always like this for trillium or "A" circuit shows.
