when i stir fry the beef it is remains raw and or hard but when we have beef dishes in resturants in hongkong the stir fried beef is sooo soft and well cooked i dont know how they do it.
great chef. personable and informative. I'm learning how to make wokery food at my job and it's my first time working with asian styles of cooking and all of your videos have been great and entertaining as well. Thank you
I believe the noodles used were yaki soba noodles or chinese egg noodles. Can you also use Shiritaki noodles? I love this video :D I love all of these videos.
Kai what kind of noodles do you use? Some of my friends use spaghetti noodles when making some sort of stir fry, but I find it to be very dry and it doesn't soak up sauce as well oppose to whatever noodles your using. Thanks.
Thanks Kai for taking the the time to do these vids, you're one of the best. I've told many people 'boutcha!, even cashiers at the local grocery store...
I just tried your recipe today for the first time and it came out really great! I changed a few of the veggies around but I followed your sauce exactly and it was delicious! I think I'll be making this more often. Thanks for the video.
Quick and easy recipe...looks great and that dang sizzle is making me hungry!!! btw, I've made pork lo mein using linguine pasta when the lomein noodles weren't available. It still came out pretty good, but you're right about not absorbing the sauce. Thanks for posting this super recipe!!! PEACE
P.S. Kai rocks cause he loves to share his knowledge of good food with others
Kai, you should get an agent and start your own cooking show. You deserve to be paid for this. And don't act humble, this is a dog eat dog world and we all have to look out for ourselves and our families. Just be yourself and people will love you because you area great guy, an amazing musician and a phenomenal cook. Don't underestimate yourself and think BIG, dude!
I wish I saw this before I went to the asian supermarket! This looks incredible Kai and now I'll have to take a trip down there again so I make it like you! Thanks so much!
Dear Kai, did you find a job and is everything OK? Hope so, love you and your cooking classes on youtube, you make it look so easy. The sign of a true master. Keep up the jokes, cant get enough of your humour!!!
@irfand4 I can't give you an "official" or "authentic" answer but I do know that with noodles you can generally substitute any noodles for any other noodles. It may not produce an authentic result but if you like the result, which will certainly be edible, then success is yours! It's a case of suck it and see. Rice noodles are very different from wheat noodles so the result would be very different too.
I love your video's and I've made many of your recipes and they are perfect!!!! please hang in there things will get better. You need to be on food network : )
@lucirz they look like egg oil noodles. you can buy it in packets, but its just egg noodles, cooked al dente, and covered in oil to stop them sticking. Use supermarket egg noodles, they'll do.
Great recipe! Nice and easy video :) Thanks alot for taking the time to help people like me with such a busy schedule. For the first time my husband like my Lo mein. All thanks to you Kai.

i never thought to add the corn starch before to thicken it. ive tried to make beef and broccoli a ton of times but it always comes out too soupy i think this is the answer thanks! :)
