Just to clarify this is an open G tuning DGDGBD but with the capo on the second fret effectively it's an open A; Making slow but determined progress in learning it.
He makes a great job of it

It's open e tuning for sure (DGDGBG, capo 2nd fret) Can't quite work it out exactly yet but once you get the tuning you'll hear it. The rhythm's the hard part.

It's off 'Not Fade Away', which came out in '06 I believe.
Still trying to scran a copy of 'Big Romance' off someone, no joy as yet.
