Keep feeding the girls crap from MCdonalds and drinking milk full of growth hormones, Moms and Dad's and your Lil girl can start budding at 2 and be ready for UFC at 5. Or switch to organic, turn off the tv and talk with her, go for a hike, etc.
Raising Cain is an excellent documentary about boys. It's important that we support all of our children in becoming their best selves. That can only benefit all of our society. We cannot afford to let any precious life wither. We need all of us.
its real simple their all going to grow up to be fornicators, homosexuals, adulterers, alcoholics, drug addicts, and single mothers...but at least they'll have the best jobs out there along with all the govt support they need to keep going to school fill their drug prescriptions and keep the average guy broke and miserable for the rest of their lives.
I really liked this documentary. It brought up all these issues that are so relevant! The people in it were so genuine, real even if it was absurd. The school that I go to now is so fake and superficial, I actually would like to have support groups and schools like this in my area!
" imagine you're a girl between 12 and 18 growing up in america today " , lol , those girls should imagine something like they are a girl between 12-18 growing up in Africa , working their ass off not to die from hunger and watching out not to be raped. In america u make a leaving only by puttin things in boxes or flipping a burger. If you have good studies then ur in the money. ( ofc u have to know how to use those studies ).
The problem is a person cannot relate to something beyond their own perspective. So while it may seem shallow and petty compared to other countries around the world this is not where these kids live and therefore they cannot imagine what it is like. If they could they would be different. At least for a generation or two and then they would be just like every other person two generations into living in this country. It's all a matter of perspective and personal experience
youre wrong about that get your facts straight africa is doing better than us if you meant south africa say south africa but without south africa they are happy with their life. cause am from ghana and it is great. and plus we are the land of gold so say south africa not just africa because its a continenet not a country.
i think boys have all the same questions and concerns as girls do but are so conditioned to bury them deep down inside so when they need them....they cant find them
I'll tell you, though, girls these days don't exercise their individuality. I'm not talking "AM I WOMAN HEAR ME ROAR" bs, just being bold AND smart. Most I see is one or the other: smart but doesn't speak up or a girl full of courage but acts dumb as bricks. Same goes for guys, too!
No one's perfect, but if you don't address those issue with the youth in general, I don't see the point. Use a belt, I guess.
There are plenty of teenage girls who are bold and smart. Some I would go so far as to say bolder than most guys I know. That's not to say there aren't many ill-mannered girls either.
You're a moron to think that any girl can possibly be stupid. Smart girls can be ignorant but that doesn't mean they're stupid. It's the same way with 'courages' girls.
If you're talking about individuality for women, it's called feminism --"I am a woman hear me roar".
A more simple approach for encouraging individuality would be to read Emerson.
Characteristics such as smart, courages, extroversive, and introversive vary from person to person. I kid you not when I say no one is stupid or a coward. Nurture ultimately defines a person's qualities. Frankly, smart and courages have loose criteria.

I'm not sure why you felt the need to include homosexuals in that list.
Two consensual adults, I don't see a problem there.

This documentary is really insulting to girls.
Modern American girls are a lot stronger-willed, and smarter, than she portrays them as.
And she was lying about girls having a higher rate of alchohol & drug abuse than boys; government statistics proove it.

This is nice, but we're still pretending that being an adolescent is easy for boys. This needs to be addressed in future programming.
