I love zombie movies too, but a fawkin zombie with emotions! SMH I hated that last scene! OHHHHHHHH REC WAS SOOOO BAD ASS! THE JUMPING BABY IN THE BASEMENT! SHlT Was sick! I just woulda kicked the little girl's ass and the mom too for pulling that stupid stunt!
1.Night of the Living dead (color version w/kick ass theme song)
2. Return of the living dead (hammer scene)
3. Brain Dead (stop the asian rat)
WOuldn't it be cool if zombies took over and we had to fight for survial! my nirvana!
Both RECo and the American version is really good. I like the whole outlook that makes it seems real enough to actually happen. I think that's what actually catches people's attention the most. Plus it was taken from the best way to film a horror movie, via Cam Corder. I think that's why the Blare Witch Project was such a horror blast.
I'm totally with you on Land of the Dead, but you lost me at Mission Impossible, that is a good movie for it's genre and for the time it came out. Hey dude, make a top 10 horror movies. Quarantine is a rip off of REC then, didn't know that LOL
The Good Charlotte guy and one of the members of Color Me Badd reviewing movies!! Kidding, kidding. I'm subbing the eff out of this doodoo! Great reviews!
Oh yeah, Romero made a movie inda like that called Diary Of The Dead. Sorta takes place during the same setting as Night Of The Living Dead, but it's kinda Blair Witch style. Might just be a cheap knockoff, though, but you should see if that's any good. Hopefully better than Land Of The Dead was... Why in God's name DID they pair Dennis Hopper and John Leguizamo again? Last time that got us Super Mario Bros...
Personally, I think the BEST horror films are the ones that don't rely to heavily on gore. It seems like all of them these days give up going for the genuine scare factor in favor of "Shock Value" in the form of guts being ripped out, heads ripped off and a resulting shower of blood... They're more gross than scary, man. One of my favs is actually Boogeyman. (Not the god-awful straight to video sequels, though) Horror movie with a message. Doesn't get better than that.
REC is awesome. I preferred REC over Quarantine. I genuinely liked the actors in that movie, espesh. the bald fireman, he was kicking some ass throughout the entire movie. xD
the American ver. threw in some scenes that were pretty pointless, but don't get me wrong, it wasn't a bad remake, i liked it, but why did they make it? Two reasons; apparently people can't read subtitles? and Money.
Did you like the remake of Dawn of the Dead? I loved that movie. :)
Slamming vid. Much appreciated. I saw the original Spanish version of REC!!! I agree, I loved the fact that they did not rely on cgi. And I am not even a fan of horror flicks. But those Spaniards got it going on!!!
I gotta say I like CG, when its done well. But yeah.... Hollywood relies on it too much. A movie needs a story to be good, but a movie doesn't need CG to be good.

Zombie fan? You'd get along very well with a band by the name of Ed Woods (channel monsterplanet). He'd get a kick out of your ink.
Need to find a way to get more musicians to vlog.

wasn't it supposed to be Zombies trying to be humans again? :P It was one of my least favorites of the zombie movies, though. I'll agree.

If we're lucky, the Zombies got IT too.
Though with the way Hollywood is these days, it might just get made... by Michael Bay!
