Did anyone else notice the sun "jumping" in the sky at around 0:51 or did flash just got worse on linux?

Also, related to the gameplay, meesternadim, how did it feel overall, loading times included, smoothly enough or, as they say, was the immersion affected by slight lags in unwanted moments, or...?

The GeForce GT 220M is a relabeled GeForce 9600M GT for OEM laptop sellers. It is for example used in the Medion Akoya P6620 where it uses fast GDDR3 memory. The specs and features are identical to the GeForce 9600M GT. ;)

The performance of the GT 130M should be somewhere near the 9650M GS. Therfore high end games like GTA 4 and Crysis wont run in high settings, but less demanding games (like Lef 4 Dead) should run fluently in high settings.

If the OS is Vista (which I have) it automatically comes with DirectX10 (Dx10). I was just talking about the way I go into games and right click on the Crysis icon and select 'playDx9' from the list. It's just a way to play Crysis and Warhead in Dx9 mode. I'm not going to get technical here; I'll just say that I get a very noticeable performance boost on those games using this method..

I have a Geforce 9600m gt in my Acer Aspire 8930 laptop and it's a decent card. Though, with both Crysis and Warhead I have to use Dx9 mode to play on high/gamer settings. With Dx10 I get considerably lower framerates to the point where I can barely target anyone due to all the choppiness. I'm glad I learned about the simple Dx9 'workaround' cause I really wanted those high settings (just like everyone else, right?).

hey guys just bought me a acer aspire 7730zg and it has nvidia geforce 9600m gt with a gig of memory and i am running 2.0 ghz with 250g hard drive space and 3 gigs of ram, so far it runs realy good with everything i play, but i have not tryed chrysis yet, does anyone know anything bout this laptop?

The Nvidia GeForce GT 130M is a DirectX 10 graphics card for notebooks and technically a higher clocked GeForce 9650M GT with a lower current consumption, so it is better, but if you want to play games in the future then don't buy a laptop!

You have Windows Vista 32 bit right? The 32 bit version of Vista can only utilize up to 3gb of ram. So really you're only using 3gb of ram with the extra gig of ram not being used.

I didn't learn this until after I bought my laptop. I also have Vista 32 bit and 4gb of ram with only 3 being used so I'm in the same boat.

I would go for more frames in 720x480 or something but I'm behind the times. I'm getting an ASUS with the 9650m gt next week so hopefully these settings will work fine but I can really tell the difference between 25 and 30 frames and would rather get more frames.

i have the same specs on my laptop, my advice if you want it to run smoother: lower the resolution, i lowered mine to 800*600. sure the aliasing is more visible but hey, when you don't have a prime gaming computer, fluidity comes at a price.
