  • well.... this is embarrassing

  • who cares f them

  • presidents choice chicken!!!

  • "she" was resonding ;)

  • I thought cops were superior drivers, LOL

  • Wouldn't happen if the Mounties stuck to using horses. :P

  • @Yupiyeahs I wonder how long it would take to respond to an accident then ^^

  • wow they must not have a 24/h timmys there :(

  • Yep... Thats a familiar sight... A woman in the ditch, let me tell you what.

  • For those of you who have never had experience with black ice before, if you ever hit black ice immedietly take your foot off the gas and turn the wheels the opposite way your vechile is sliding while gentle pumping the break to slow down, make sure to be very gental with the breaks if you slam the breaks you will be in a free spin and lose complete control....i would rather be stuck in the snow bank then end up hitting a transport, pretty obivious why the officer drove it into the bank.

  • I bet he didn't get a ticket for driving over the speed limit in unsafe conditions.

  • @CptSchmidt maybe the police were chasing someone speeding or going to a call. has nothing to do with speeding anyways when black ice is involed.

  • lol

  • That's why women weren't allowed to drive :D

  • @JVRimshot Why were women not allowed to drive? Was it due to the pervasive, ubiquitous, socialy constructed ideology of our society that socialized women to make them believe they were inferior in aptitude and skill? Most of our auto accidents are caused by young male drivers between the ages of 18 to 30. You must learn to assess a situation with fairness and logic. Educate yourself on any topic, first, before making grandiose, sweeping indictments.

  • Now, now. She was probably talking to her boyfriend/Hubby on her mobile phone .

  • that is one mess of a road... damn!

  • Grate Video Thanks

  • Would you look at that a female officer or as I like to call them piglets!!

  • I would have had that unit out in 5 minutes.

  • did you noticed? it was a...chick cop too LOL!!

  • Any vehicle can go off the road.

FWD means nothing in heavy snow/ice.

Usually any skid will correct itself if the driver puts 'er in neurtal.(RWD)

Downhill on snowies should be neutral as well.

Most people get into accidents because they can afford to.

  • If anyone has driven in a blizzard you should know, you see about 6 cars in the ditch every 5 km.

  • @sEDispute yup they are call bad drivers I see them but I never join them .One time I was so bad out that I was driving 35 on a 110 zone lol

  • you shoulf left this stupid ploice dare dont go pull it of the snow is go for police two get stuck

  • god bless canadian winters haha,

i'm surprised there isn't more police cars going off the roads in our winters, since nearly every single one is rear wheel drive..

  • i think they need chains on there tires specially made for the RCMP

  • sweeet this happened in moncton where i live

  • lol, i always get tail gated by cops while doing 50 in a 40 then they floor it past me and do est.60mph in a 40 zone, then i usaully find them further down the road eating! ha looks like this guy got what he deserved

  • lol looks good on him

  • her you mean

  • NO RCMP SLOW THE HELL DOWN

  • maybe next time your in trouble, we'll ask the RCMP to slow down, and NOT make it in time. You'll have a different mindset then if any.

  • what do you want them to speed and kill some one else and go off the road maybe next time it may happen to you use you head

  • You don't even need to speed to go off the road in black ice, obviously you don't have much experience driving in this kind of weather, u can be doing 1 km/hr and still go off the road because it's pure ice and there is no traction. Secondly RCMP officers are trained in high speed pursuit, and advanced driving skills, they don't speed to put peoples lives at risk. They're trained in what they do and they do it well. Accidents still do happen, but you really need to chill and respect these people

  • i agree with budyser63 on the top page

  • if there is no emergency they should slow down, but if there is speed if neccary

  • it not the balls i do not have ! it the thinking of being superior to everybody and untouchable because i am the law .... and yes i have been on black and out in storms etc more than most of those officiers ..and only had 1 accident in over 40 years of commercial driving

  • that road was in very good shape.you still could see ashfault. probably got disorintated by the snow drifting across the road.

  • that is not pavement you see there, that is ice my friend. I drove by that accident in my 4x4 and it took me a lot of spinning and fish-tailing just to get moving again after slowing down. And i have damn good tires.

  • Those Crown Vics don't even always get snows, just those deep tread goodyear all seasons, of course driving speed to suit conditions...you know.

  • Winter tires help alot but they don't make your vehicle invincible!

  • they should follow their own advice and slow down when conditions are not good ............

    or are they that special

  • Read the caption, it says the member was attending a call. You know, something called an emergency? ever heard of it?

  • going to an emergency call does not mean to risk her life and the life of others while going ..it means practicing common sense ahh rcmp common sense

  • You obviously have never been on black ice, you can be driving slower then ten km and try to stop and you wont. She atleast had the common sense hit the ditch instead of causing an accident, and so what if she was going fast, black ice isnt everywhere, she probably hit a bad patch unexpectedly. You people are far to quick to condemn police officers, when none of you would have the balls to do the job.

  • slednecks... You rule.

  • its unreal out there every road is black ice and like driving on a skating rink

  • Let me guess. The female RCMP officer was not paying attention to her driving because she was busy working on her dashboard laptop.

If it's black ice, why are the other vehicles running just fine. Cough! cough! Black ice. Not the first time RCMP has used this one.

Oh well. At least she's ok and there's no damage done to the car.

  • no it was not her fault at all , never seen roads so bad , went from perfect driving on wet roads to black ice with a little snow making it very slippery.

  • @Newschaser I go on that road every day wy did I not crash oh thats right I don't drive like a crazed lunatic

  • @Newschaser WHERE IS THIS PLEASE ANSWER ME! I WANT TO LIVE THERE!!!

  • @redneck4runneroutlaw Moncton New Brunswick Canada Redneck4:)

  • @redneck4runneroutlaw tehe why do you want to live here (not that it's not a nice place to live)?

  • i agree
