I love how you interpret these classical pieces. I'm sure Beethoven, Bach and everyone else, whom you have played songs from, would be astounded at your skill!
@MrSimonpreece Because he's not simply pressing a key for one... and I wasn't being literal; I was joking about how his epicness would put a pianist to shame (someone who is already epicly skilled [again not literal... there's no shame]... grr u've unintentionally trolled me cuz I had to explain it... er at least I hope it was unintentional). Now I've died a little on the inside. ='(
@ValiumandDolls oh i see, so thats why it wasnt making any sound haahah! anyway, it's okay, its not offensive after all, i did bought those glass at some kind of cheap store hahaha~
@roberttiso I could use some help, can you please tell me (if it not to much of a problem) the measures of the glasses you use? I'm trying to make one but have no clue about it
Невероятно и потрясающе!!! Никто из подражателей даже не приблизился к уровню Вашего мастерства. Фантастика! А каков диапазон и схема размещения звуков?
D: I just wonder how people could not like this? ... they probably don't seem to see all the affort and work that is behind tuning the glasses right and practising probably several times to play it so nicely. also I wonder, do you use notes or you play those masterpieces by heart? *_*

one of the most beautiful sounds that have come to my ears ever! the fact that 5 people didnt like this just means we have idiots who live around us as human beings... excellent work on the glass harp you are a prodigy amongst us all and im am proud to have listened to what amazing music glass can produce!!

Absolutely incredible. I am grateful that I have messed about playing glasses to begin to understand the huge effort and skill you have put into this.
This is mesmerizing! I would like to make a request, if you could perform Beethoven's 7th Symphony, movement 2 Allegretto. It is just an amazing piece and doesn't receive the praise it deserves by modern people(i don't know how it was treated way back when, but everyone knows Fur Elise and this). I'm willing to argue that the 7th symphony movement 2 is the best composition by beethoven(its not like i can have a valid argument but i like it so much) Amazing performance!
ive watched a couple of your videos and enjoyed what ive heard. have you thought of making an orchestra or sorts of glass players? can you imagine the beautiful sound, intensity and power coming from arounf 20-30 glass players all playing together.
One thing that bugs me it that the three note motif he plays has more of a triplet feel than an eighth rest - eighth note - eighth note - eighth note feel like it should.
wow this was by far the coolist thing i've ever seen! I knew glasses filled with different amounts of water could make different sounds but i never thought they could be used like this! Great job!
If I may request a classical piece that I believe would sound complimentary to the glass harp. Prokofiev's Montegues and Capulet. George Gershwin has a few nice pieces that would translate into this instrument with great sound as well
I have watched all your clips over and over, I am a true fan of your talent, and I wish you all the best success. Well done Robert!
i new and i love your work but i have one question has any of the crystal cups break on you as you played them? This is probably a dumb question but i'm just courious

@roberttiso WOW~ this is amazing. And at home, i have a wine glass but it would'nt make a sound, is it because the glass is too thick?
shineelover16 7 months ago
@shineelover16 the glass needs to be made of pure crystal. The glass you have (and I'm not trying to be rude) is probably of a poorer quality.

Stunning sound, what i hear from here is like a combination of flute and high pitched violin.
I do however get this script in my mind...
How frustrated would you be ,while performing in a concert, being very thirsty , staring at glasses with water, not being able to drink one drop ...
