Then I got GOW 3 and for me it easily the best looking game i have ever seen on any system. I have crysis 2 and uncharted 2 might not have as great looking graphics compared to crysis 2 but other then crysis 2, uncharted 2 has way better graphics then any game. Crysis 2 has lead 4 now but when uncharted 3 comes out, no doubt about it uncharted will have the best graphics

Oh and FYI they did a test on the Killzone 3 and Crysis 2 beta and Killzone 3 was rate "perfect and Crysis 2 was rated "near perfect". ROFL Killzone 3 ran at a consistent frame rate with absouloutely 0 Screen Tearing while Crysis 2 had a "LOT!" of screen tearing. And Crysis 2 just didn't have that impressive detail that Killzone 3 has.

I was BLOW OF MY FEET when I saw the massive environment scale in Killzone 3 and how many things are going on around the massive environment all simultaneously. It's mind boggling how the PS3 can handle all these things simultaneously in such a massive environment.
And Crytek sucks lol, unacceptable screen tearing even on 360 is just ridiculous. 360 does not have bad hardware at all.
The only reason crysis two has screen tearing is because of the constant variation of the frames on the consoles. Again, the console is at fault. Much less the engine- which has finally been optimized enough for consoles to shake a stick at it. Though the game will definitely look best on the PC, screen tearing should not occur on the PC.
Now the PS3 has a TON of processing power, it's no wonder it can run so many things at once, especially a game like kz3.
Now crysis and kz3, both have differences. Lets face it, crysis at very high settings can tell most console games to take a hike without fear of getting blown to bits.
But the difference? Well quality and quanity.
Kz3 even today does not look as good as crysis.(limited opinion) The post processing effects are certainly not as good.
But the amount going on in kz3 displays the consoles processing capabilities- abilities to handle large quantiies of actions at once.
Now crysis pushed the benchmark with environments, maps are gigantic, look at crysis warhead, that required a TON of processing power. MORE than the FIRST. (but less GPU power mind you- surprisingly) the maps were GIGANTIC compared to most games. simply GIGANTIC. And the amount of processing power as you headed into each environment after environment, was huge when maxed out.
Planes in the air, bomb raids, enemies scramming, jumping into vehicles, attempting to gun you down.

No it's not a single core, it has 6 usable SPE"s. Indeed they can't run a conventional OS like PC processor cores but they are very very useful in games. SPE's can do anything a normal computer core can do in games. Whether it be A.I, Physics, hit collision, effects etc... anything....

@zzzIdividedbyzerozzz Well seeing how Gears of War 2 and God of War 3 are on par with each other and they have the best texture mapping to date, I'd say it's better then Uc2. Killzone 2 has better texture mapping then Uc2 but not Gow2 and Gow3. The lighting in Uc2 is just bright not dynamic, nothing compared to Gow2, GoW3 and Killzone 2. Gears 2 has much better water effects, and fire.
This games is good but the graphics look too fake. I mean it looks oversaturated, too much color, and everything is shiny, like some people would say it looks like plastic. The character models also don't look realistic, yet people still say that is game has the best graphics(looks so real blah blah blah) those people that say that need to go outside once in a while and check out how real people walk and look like.

Umm. Crysis is still the best looking game ever made. I own U2, and Crysis is far beyond Uncharted 2. You don't believe me, try Crysis on Very High settings at 1080p, 8xAA ,and run it at 30-40fps. You don't know what good is until then. There are cracks to make the game look even better, so Crysis is by far the best looking game. Learn your shit before posting a video, or at least don't be blind.
Uncharted 2 is the best looking game ever and you know why? Because most ppl aren't nerds who want to set up a $2000 dollar computer just to play a fuckin game like Crysis. For normal ppl on a normal budget this is the best looking game ever.

The shadows look like the edge is just made of dots and the death position for the kill is ridiculous.
But i only owned it for a month due to the online part of the game is not for me. firstly the cloak system it spoils it for me and it lacks something compared to mw2 because it is for me still the best (bc2 over took it for a while, but it returned to 2nd best after a couple of weeks but only by a tiny fraction. online keeps a game interesting

Knowing crytek- they limited the amount of effects to certain API. Such as Direct X 10 or Direct X 11.
Will crysis 2 look the best? More than likely yes, the original farcry did not cease to amaze, Crysis thwarted all, and crysis 2 might just make a trio of victories.
But the real gold here is gameplay. KZ3- WAS BAD WITH GAMEPLAY.

1 PPE ( not core ) 6 SPE's and the RSX which people have done tests on and they got 2TFLOPS but lets just stick with 618.

Oh and FYI they did a test on the Killzone 3 and Crysis 2 beta and Killzone 3 was rate "perfect and Crysis 2 was rated "near perfect". ROFL Killzone 3 ran at a consistent frame rate with absouloutely 0 Screen Tearing while Crysis 2 had a "LOT!" of screen tearing. And Crysis 2 just didn't have that impressive detail that Killzone 3 has.

The only reason crysis two has screen tearing is because of the constant variation of the frames on the consoles. Again, the console is at fault. Much less the engine- which has finally been optimized enough for consoles to shake a stick at it. Though the game will definitely look best on the PC, screen tearing should not occur on the PC.
Now the PS3 has a TON of processing power, it's no wonder it can run so many things at once, especially a game like kz3.

Now crysis and kz3, both have differences. Lets face it, crysis at very high settings can tell most console games to take a hike without fear of getting blown to bits.
But the difference? Well quality and quanity.
Kz3 even today does not look as good as crysis.(limited opinion) The post processing effects are certainly not as good.
But the amount going on in kz3 displays the consoles processing capabilities- abilities to handle large quantiies of actions at once.

Now crysis pushed the benchmark with environments, maps are gigantic, look at crysis warhead, that required a TON of processing power. MORE than the FIRST. (but less GPU power mind you- surprisingly) the maps were GIGANTIC compared to most games. simply GIGANTIC. And the amount of processing power as you headed into each environment after environment, was huge when maxed out.
Planes in the air, bomb raids, enemies scramming, jumping into vehicles, attempting to gun you down.

Firstly, CryEngine 2 was not optmized, not well at all.
Secondly, Dice's Battlefield 3 might give Crysis 1 & 2 a run for it's money.

@henryhenriquez No you retard, if they ment maximum performance then they would say each SPE gives a theoritical peak performance of 25.6GFLOPS like they did for some PC hardware. They Cell has a lot of potentail deal with it. And when you said no game on PS3 will ever be as complex as Crysis/Crysis 2 on PC you were correct since 256RAM/VRAM won't get you far on sanbox games like Crysis.
Go see Killzone 3 gameplay, it blew me off my feet.

PS3 has more then enough processing power. Just drop your hate for 1 min and take it look at what devs have accomplished just by tapping into the power of the SPE's.

No it's not a single core, it has 6 usable SPE"s. Indeed they can't run a conventional OS like PC processor cores but they are very very useful in games. SPE's can do anything a normal computer core can do in games. Whether it be A.I, Physics, hit collision, effects etc... anything....
Saying SPE's are shit screams ignorance. Why would Sony spend over 75% of their budget on that instead of just throwing in a couple of PPE's ( cores ) then ???

@zzzIdividedbyzerozzz Well seeing how Gears of War 2 and God of War 3 are on par with each other and they have the best texture mapping to date, I'd say it's better then Uc2. Killzone 2 has better texture mapping then Uc2 but not Gow2 and Gow3. The lighting in Uc2 is just bright not dynamic, nothing compared to Gow2, GoW3 and Killzone 2. Gears 2 has much better water effects, and fire.

This games is good but the graphics look too fake. I mean it looks oversaturated, too much color, and everything is shiny, like some people would say it looks like plastic. The character models also don't look realistic, yet people still say that is game has the best graphics(looks so real blah blah blah) those people that say that need to go outside once in a while and check out how real people walk and look like.

ok im stumped. ive been comparing MGS4 with this and this is more colorful, but MGS4 is really faded to fit the environment like the middle east and south america and bright places like those. and they're both seem more like movies rather than a game, but MGS4 shows it all it super long, sometimes annoying cutscenes, and uncharted 2 shows it in just beautiful action movie scenes. im on the fence. =/

Umm. Crysis is still the best looking game ever made. I own U2, and Crysis is far beyond Uncharted 2. You don't believe me, try Crysis on Very High settings at 1080p, 8xAA ,and run it at 30-40fps. You don't know what good is until then. There are cracks to make the game look even better, so Crysis is by far the best looking game. Learn your shit before posting a video, or at least don't be blind.
