@waybent335 You're right. Quite the rush. It's a lot different than going 150 on a crotch rocket. Something about being off road makes it even faster. If I had a choice to top out my CBR600 or my MXZ800 I'd pick the sled any day.

8000 to 8100rpm are what the mxz700 and 800 run. i have a 100% stock 2001 mxz 800 and it tachs the same.

Nice! I have an 01' 700 and she is a rocket too! I see in your vid it took 10 seconds to go from basically 0 to 100mph!(time 1:16 - 1:26) Gotta love those rotax 700's!!

I used a Flip video camera. I used a U clamp to go around the handle bar. I then put a cross bar thing over the "U" and put nuts on top of that (to prevent the U from falling off the handle bar. Then I screwed on my Flip video and tightened a nut up to that so that it wouldn't move (the Flip video has a hole in the bottom that is threaded, I can't remember what size)

i have a 2002 mxz 700 and i got mine to 120mph mabye kus i was on a hard packed road that was a few miles long but it only took be about a half mile till it stoped kreeping up

Oh lol haha, I didn't gun it on the first run because I just wanted to make sure I wasn't going to lose the camera! I'm sure the little extra speed wouldn't have harmed it anyway, as it didn't end up falling off :-P
