Outstanding. Just as good as their early shows for sure. God, they were so hypnotic at times. Especially those rare, live, dope laced sets with The Outsets.
I taped them a few times at CBGB's and Danceteria in 1982-1983. GOOD Times!
More Cowbell! Uh, been around since when Pat was w/the Contortions..saw the BT, Bad Brains+Go4..it was their best concert...pity I never met Dimitri, I came 2 Bflo from nyc & went 2 ub when he did..there were 5 punks in all of ub..I remember wearing a television t-shirt & seeing 'too many creeps' .CS sounds great & looks the same (immortal? got 1 of those duncan mcleod swords) Pat's guitar is very tasteful & does not overwhelm the rest of the band..my compliments. thks bob
This is brilliant! This performance is almost cinematic, the sparse, minimal elements building slowly up to dramatic crescendo. Good stuff! And I love those chops from Pat Place. Again, minimal but with maximum effect.
DOES ANYONE HAVE A SHORTER VERSION OF THIS TRACK THEY COULD UPLOAD PLEASE? THE ONE THAT I ALWAYS USED TO LISTEN TO HAS BEEN DELETED AND I CAN'T PUT A TRACK THIS LONG ON A TAPE, ITS NEVER A GOOD IDEA!
first time i heard this song it was on the Jane Hamburger show in NYC (80 something?)...i was mesmerized. wow what a blast from the past- luv u guys! (where's LAURA?)
Maybe it was after that. Our high school reunion was in 1981, and I think she was still living in Port Washington then. We spent the weekend together. By '82 I think she was working at KSAN in San Francisco, but it was a long time ago!
is That Pat baum? you gotta be kidding? We did this song in Portland oregon in the early mid 80's pat was our Drummer in the Band the GRIP! She was the best woman drummer at the time. Wow miss those days alot
Love 'em. Was a fan in the '80s. Then they disappeared from my life. Then they reappeared as my daughter's elementary school teacher. (Well Cynthia Sley did anyway.) I kid you not!
Ooh, they still kick ass. I missed them when they did that. I see Cynthia, Dee, Pat...but is that Laura on bass? I could not tell...what a brilliant single...as someone else said here...the B side! Das Ah Riot!
hexadecibel,to be born 23 years ago,i feel for you,you grown up with crap, lucky me,its gonna be hard to be a john peel, never mind, cant be helped, age thing.you got tube, you got vynil?
I was there! I was actually standing behind the guy (and gal) taking the video that night. Using some pretty archaic equipment but the effect is very nice. The Bush Tetras are amazing.

Had to be the late 70s by the 80s Jane was living in California. The show was on PIX. Jane was my best friend in high school.

couldn't have been late 70's? I moved to NYC in 1981. Anyways Jane was the hippest DJ around at the time. God that seems like a million years ago!
