  • HOW DO YOU BURNIT?

  • where do i put my roms for my wii on the sd card?

  • in the root of the sd card

  • this was NOT developed by waninkoko, but by Team Twiizers and the Genesis Project. homebrew channel is made by Team Twiizers, the twilight hack (probably used to install said channel) is made by Team Twiizers AND the GensPlus Wii version is made by the genesis project.

    it works best if you dump roms onto the SD card

  • I cant get it to boot the dvd

    Can you explain or help me

  • Yes!!!

    You need:

    * Modchip

    * Custom IOS37 rev 02 (by waninkoko) installed in the Wii.

    * GenPlus-GX SVN with DVD support (by waninkoko)(GenPlus Mod)

    Google "wii. waninkoko. info"

    Bye!!!

  • Can you burn them to cdr or cdrw instead?

  • Hi!!!

    The Wii only can read DVD's, no CD's (sorry)

  • Yes it does work without a modchip.

  • how do you get the file on to the dvd-r please help???

  • dannyml is this wii modded(with modchip)

  • Yes!!!

    You need:

    * Modchip

    * Custom IOS37 rev 02 (by waninkoko) installed in the Wii.

    * GenPlus-GX SVN with DVD support (by waninkoko)(GenPlus Mod)

    Bye!!!

  • YOU DON'T NEED A MODCHIP.

    YOU NEED:

    Custom IOS37 rev(by waninkoko) installed in the Wii.

    * GenPlus-GX SVN with DVD support (by waninkoko)(GenPlus Mod)

    * Home-brew channel

    the custom ios allows this 2 wk on a unmodded wii.

    gosh.

  • I've gotten a yes and a no on this subject, have you personally tested this yourself and can verify it reads without a modchip?

  • you dont need a modchip!!!!!!!!!

  • Is this working on a non-chipped console, or does this Wii have a modchip?

  • No, you don't need any modchip! just the homebrew chanel... :-)

  • So you 100% can confirm you don't need a modchip, the one you tested it on didn't have one installed? I heard by marcan that this was impossible on an unchipped console?

    Also when you burn the DVD's, did you burn them a certain way? Or can you just drag and drop the roms and folders onto a DVD-R write files windows and let windows do a default burn?

  • You need a mod chip.

  • Nice good to see there getting this far nice and quick, not much use for that emu though the roms are rearly small so even a small sd card will do the job as for N64 that will be great, I wonder if DVD9 will work, dual layer support would make it the best way to play roms.
