  • Anonymous can move ANY Mountain.

  • Blast from the past!! Rocked onto this in my A reg MG Metro!!

  • dance music seemed so much better back then.. or am i getting old

  • @jimmymoss951 Na you`re not gettin old it was way BETTER back then.

  • @mudpie95 Agreed and this has become my 'Classic Rock'. I would not want to rock any other way.

  • @jimmymoss951 Nope. Age is relative and quality has diminished. Just rock with what you know and remember we were there. Good times and memories!

  • @jimmymoss951 No you're not getting old...you're quite right, its shit these days..they can't make dance music anymore :(

  • ahhh brings me right back to thrashing my mk1 XR2 in Tamworth sweeeeet

  • The best motivational song ever

  • ha ypt

  • JUST DANCE!!!

  • Listen to this and ask yourself, "Have production values improved in the past 20 years?" You may find that the answer is, "No."

  • @cro44magnum I was thinking the same thing not even a fraction of thought goes into music nowdays very sad. music from these times moved you and made you reminisce good times.took you to another world

  • Grand UPPA!!!!!!

  • the remake, "move my erection" by seanisnotreal

  • HUNGARIAN COVER: /watch?&v=b0GXeX1ACrU

    VERY GOOD COVER!

  • The Shamen + Beatmasters = timeless classics

  • ican move ,move move any mountain. can you tell that last guy to sell my condoms i cant be bothered : : . . .

  • With delivery smooth like water from a fountain - that's why I can move any mountain!!

  • Why does nobody remember these guys? I feel like their stuff is forgotten and overlooked.

  • streets of rage - under logic

  • TUNE... i remember when mr. c was a dj,, and he was the nuts... best era for tunage..

  • @soragon

Yep I know what you're on about ;D

  • My dad used to play this track for my sister and I when we were little kids in the 90's. We used to call this song "Shamu".

  • First time I heard this was on a South London pirate station - God bless those brave electronicist cultural pioneers and a pox on establishment radio as Western civilisation goes the way of the first Survivors series in the 1970s

  • Total Fun, any where any time...

  • I first heard this song on LIFE GOES ON and fell in love with it!

  • @xXTempsXx Wicked! I had a lowered re-sprayed Morris Minor Van that was rather good at going around corners sideways. The wheels were Escort wheels and seated improperly so eventually the front wheel started to fall off when I was doing 60 down a dual carriageway. The engine blew up (big end) and the petrol tank fell out coming down off a curb, but I swear it was the coolest car ever! I still have long hair as is the way of the 90s Jedi.

    Right... Happy Mondays next!

  • One of the best dance songs ever written. Love the guitar sound on this.

  • Listen to "Under Logic" by Yuzo Koshiro (from the Streets of Rage 2 soundtrack for Sega Genesis). Very much influenced by this song.

  • @RyleeStrange Good ear, I recall exactly what you are talking about

  • @talkinghead22 It's my favourite soundtrack. i have every musical idea in that thing memorized. So hearing something similar to it always pops out to me.

  • 8 people can't move, move, move any mountain...

  • Heard this today on the radio. What a tune. Brings me back to the Angel Islington. Love it....

  • Kind of funny how "Under Logic" in SoR2 is heavily influenced by this track. At the end of the stadium you have to move a "mountain" by beating up the huge Big Ben.

  • @UnbridledAtNightfall i did actually sing move any mountain over the top of it when i played SoR2 the other day

  • Early 90's when MTV broadcasted good music only. I heard this song for the last time in 1995 and now after 15 years ... :))) I was dancing to this when is was 10-12 and despite long break I remember all the lyrics from this song. So fucking empowering :)))

  • wakey wakey

  • Sounds like Street of Rage 2 the stadium theme!!

  • Thumbs up if you ever cought yourself performing strange, entranced hindu statue like dance moves to this somewhere in your room after midnight.

  • way ahead of its time

  • Im 14 and I love this! :)

  • THIS IS CLASSIC TUNE !!

Shame that one guy of duo died so young !!

  • Wow how do i still know the words to this? I'm 36 and still rocking to this.

  • Move move..

  • 1:25 and begin to dance

  • I remember my babysitter playing this back in the early 90's

  • @NoMoreWarNoMore - I know EXACTLY what you mean. I'm 38 and this is one of the very few songs of this genre that I remember - I think I still have my Progen 91 cd around here somewhere. This, Six Underground by The Sneaker Pimps and Sweet Lullaby by Deep Forest are a couple of other songs that I still think are just amazing.

  • the most positive lyrics ever. The shamen were light years ahead of their time.So much love and respect for these guys.takes me back to when I was 15-shiiiiit i feel old?na im 37 years young!!My vision one nation one tribe!!woo hoo

  • @Trinder3467 I hope you mean Scooter stole this!

  • @Trinder3467 Yeah, of course that's what I mean. This is an old song. Scooter's song is new. So obviously Scooter is the bitch in this case.

  • This choon THIS FUCKING TUNE! Fucking rushin!

  • back in the day....so many memories....

  • Loved it in the 90s &&& still love,,,,,them..xx

  • I like how almost EVERY comment is something about Streets of Rage 2, and not about the song's qualities or lack thereof.

  • Streets of Rage 2.

  • no you can't lol

  • GRAND UPPPPAAAAA! Hey who's that guy singing??? Oh well, AHHHhhhhhh!

  • man those were the fucking days

  • I bought this on 12 inch. Fuckin still love this song.

  • it was 1am in the morning and was in a car full of lads parked up in a field in the North Wales mountains. This song was the first of the night, and banged out........mega....rave.......mint

  • @slateblue08 How old are you? that sounds amazing. I'd love to go to an illigal rave out in the hills. Apparently they had them in quarries in the peak district back in the day. Thesedays, old churches and disused schools are the place!

  • @1tealove this was held at a well know place in the hills above Llangollen during the summer of 1990 if, I remember rightly. Later, I went to other raves which, were all located on so called public ground around the mountains of North Wales. They were good fun but none as good as that first one for me...

  • muy buenos tiempos, recuerdo con mucha nostalgia

  • 90's FTW XD

  • this brings me back to my childhood I am 25 now and I still get nostalgic lol

  • I like the Character for Mountain looks like it 山

  • New years eve,,,freezing,,,stood outside with everyone else in 92 for hours on end in the park. A drink and i smoke....34 year old now and wish I could spend New years like that again with the same people....We weren't wrong..Long live the Yeoman TWOC Squad...lol

  • @Sham3214 aye m8, those were the days, getting mashed in the summer was the best, everyone bouncing around having a laugh, these days your more likely to get a blade down your chin when you go out, 90's were the days, nice to see someone still likes the old times :)

  • @markdarroch go on u old cunt!

  • @kiss904 forgot to reply to ya ages ago,.. aye, i'm an old bugger lol, gotta love the 90's :)

  • Yeah i looked up this song as soon as i read that it shared sounds and sounded painfully similar to yuzo koshiroa " under logic" from streets of rage 2

  • the shamen were what made my 90's,.. fuck!,... i miss those days,... nowadays its all about justin "i'm a fuckin' leprechaun!" bieber and Tiny "dis"Tempah,... bring back the nineties man!! lmao :)

  • @markdarroch Fucking right on!

  • Woop! Woop!! When I was 19 and moved to Ireland my best friend bought the Shamen's album...we rocked out to it all the time!! Ebeneezer Goode is my fave though....

  • TUNNNNNEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

  • They DO NOT make dance tunes like they used to. todays music is SHYTE. amen

  • @MrMMABJJ By and large yes, but that's a dangerous generalisation! There some hope out there, Zomby, Crystal Castles etc.

  • @MrMMABJJ ...Amen.

  • @MrMMABJJ

If you think this, you may not be looking hard enough. There is good stuff, you just have to be looking for it.

  • what's with these crappy lyrics....gimme the instrumental version! oh wait it's Streets of Rage 2 - Under Logic! :)

  • seen em live man and yes im a grandad!

  • Terence McKenna did a live Spoken Word speech/performance with The Shamen in 1992. Awesome

  • Comment removed

  • Not that any mountain is capable of moving

The Shamen are the new generation who will prove it.

You can be what you want to be

Let your soul and your body and your mind be free

One of a kind, we all are that

Well going all the way is where I'm at

The delivery is smooth like water from a fountain

That's why I can move any mountain!

    Sorry, couldn't help myself.

  • @LeeJB67 nice one Lee

  • You can be what you want to be .... I can move any mountain

  • STREETS OF RAGEEEEE!!!

  • I must be the only person who likes napalm death, megadeth, metallica, the sex pistols, ac/dc, motorhead, nirvana, korn, lamb of god, marilyn manson, nofx, black sabbath, ozzy and the shamen!0_0 Man I'm weird, I dont even understand myself, but still, this song is soo cool with some shrooms man!

  • @LgGerminator he he just FYI you're not the only one :-)))

  • @LgGerminator I am into grindcore, street punk, crust punk, grunge and metal.

I also love this kind of music too!

Variety is the spice of life!

  • Saw The Shamen at my first all nighter in Livingston, Scotland

Danced beside Mr. C at one of my last raves.

    Wooot!

  • One of the BEST RAVE songs. Takes me back to dancing night clubs in the early 90's .

Why can't they make music like this anymore?

  • this reminds me of nigel craigie

  • Streets of Rage 2 anyone?

  • This song... it really could make me move any mountain! Also.... this sounds like its from Streets of Rage 2 for some reason. That would be kick ass if it was.... kicking Mr.Xs ass with this playing.

  • Acid trip music much... lol me LUVS :D

  • Best Played Loud ;)

  • Romulan!

You are a credit to your upswept-eyebrowed, point-eared race! Seriously, great great song and many thanks for uploading it. Absolute bloody classic and quite possibly the best track made in the Earth's 4.5bn-year history.

One correction though: isn't it "One of a kind, we all are that" rather than "Win every time, we all are that". My version appears to make more sense and seems more like what he is saying if you listen closely. Care to investigate?

  • Awesome tune!

  • traveling to the past.... more than 15 years.... good timessss

  • oh yeah, listening to this track, i really could move any mountain!! :))

  • Bring back this song its such a classsic good times

  • Beat Edit version by The Beatmasters

  • this is a great dance tune

  • What a tune!

  • Whoa dude, where can i get summa that!!! ; D .\/,,

  • I'm philosophically uncertain that they could move *any* mountain, given that the universe is amazingly large and contains an incredible number of them.

  • @winchestersyllabub , u muppet, thats just commenting for commentings sake, its a figure of speech, retard...ie he feels he can do anything , in the state he is feeling. i.e a euphoric side effect of xtc. mug

  • @korgasm What....... you mean like in a Shamonic state?

  • Streets of Rage 2.

  • Man, all my life if wanted sumone to agree on that with me.

    <3

  • Fuck me i was 17 when this was album was out and on micro dots every weekend-pure class.

  • I loved this track when I was twelve and I still do!!!

  • damn i heard this song in early 90s on mtv i was maybe 9-11 yo, today morning the chorus started to play in my head then i found this good track again! i can move any mountain

  • the song was used in "Angry Cabaret" on MTV

  • I was a huge Shamen fan they were really progressive for their day and yes this tune was originally called progen, have seen them live loads of times and its probably hard to believe now but this tune was a stomper in the early nineties when dance music had just evolved from the acid scene in the late eighties

  • This track pwns!

  • First shamen single i bought. Was sad to find out WILL SIN dyed while filming the video for move any mountain which was called Progen in it's original version.peace.

  • I love the shaman...Jah bless move any mountain..

  • Still as hard, aggressive and positive as when I first heard it, got my original tape single - in perfect condition - bubble wrapped for posterity. A blindin' track - Respect!

  • i still have this on 7" <3

  • Ah...memories.

  • Shamen's song make me want to...MOVE ANY MOUNTAIN! :)

  • Listen to Ozric Tentacles on the youtube. They are a holistic psychedelic prog rock band from England. They are similar to Melting Euphoria and Gong and hawkwind.

  • stage 4 of Streets of Rage 2!

  • yeah!!!! Awesome!

  • @ZachWebbEX

Never noticed the similarity before but well spotted.

  • @ZachWebbEX i knew i had spotted it in a game somwhere

  • remember Mr C doing the live rapping on the orginal mix at the Brantree Barn circa 1990

  • My first concert at the barrowlands Glasgow with the prodigy as supporting act. STILL BRILLIANT.

  • I was at that gig tripping out ma head brilliant!!!

  • crap ... this is Street of rage 2 ... baseball arena... -.-

  • Since Streets Of Rage 2 was released two years after this song was released there is a good chance Yuzo Koshiro made this into a remixed rendition for that Stage.

  • Thanks! those were the days :).

  • Do not laugh, but I heard this on EastEnders the other day and liked it so I came here for it :-) very good :-)

  • It is, Check out orbital they are cool too

  • Sheman me encanta, gracias por ponerlo, I love sheman THX for upload this song ;)

  • The Shamen should reform for some one off concerts, fuck all that other shit reforming like Take That and Spice Girls we want to get pissed and dance like we did make in the 90s!!!
