I am a Falun Gong practitioner. Falun Dafa is a cultivation system in the Buddha School based on the principles of the Universe: 真 Truthfulness 善 Compassion 忍 Forbearance.
Since 1999 it has been brutally persecuted by the CCP in China. People are being killed, tortured, put into concentration camps and have organs harvested from live people, simply because of their belief. More than 3400 Falun Gong practitioners have died at the hands of CCP in the past 12 years.
The Myans were not a peaceful people. They practiced human sacrifice and fought vicious wars between cities. We have already somewhat evolved from this Lord of the Flies mentality but still have a long way to go. There is only 1 God and one Saveior. God gave us free will so the world is what we make it. The prince of this world, The Adversary, can only tempt and deceive. It's up to us to choose
@zonetheory They were indeed peaceful people, they practiced bloodletting and but the spanish OBVIOUSLY exaggerated their accounts of it. History is written by the "victors", the history you know is obviously from the point of view of europeans ("white" people) and not from OUR point of view.
Do people really believe it was that peaceful back then? That is just as nieve as believing they were brute savages.
They were human, same as now. Not perfect, not all bad.
I love to watch native american culture but when I see the past laid out as a Eutopia over and over again it makes me wonder how much common sense people have.
People will still fight - whether they are using a 13 or 12 month calendar. We are already part of nature, we are animals just like all other animals and animals fight and kill for self-defense, tribal competition for resources or over mates. Native American tribes were constantly at war with eachother all over the Americas. That is just a fact of life (and death). The 13 month calendar sounds like a better calendar - but a calendar will not make humans "peaceful".
After Apocalypse there will be only few people left on Earth and I don't think they will ever try to hate each other and make wars again. They will trash every possible event that could bring them back to this time !
So everything and everybody will change for good. Even animals will change. It is all in the prophecies. It might sound science fiction, but what if all life on Earth will generate to a new life and we all will become vegetarians. Even animals. And I say " Why not. It sounds good "
We all want to leave this world and search for better places.
The problem is not the world, though. The problem are some people.
I long to wake up one day when all are capable of leaving this place by their own choice, coexisting only with people that share the same principles and beliefs.
Right now, it's still a dream. The word "unity" has been hijacked by people who get off by controlling other people.

You might be strong to face many problems in your life but you will never know what you will leave behind your fight. And that of course doesn't have the end.
We all have to be like one family and not make things hard on you and others. There is no need to be afraid to give a hand to others because they will help you as well.
It was played in the movie " The Time Machine ". It is about People from the future very far away (800 000 years) from us living in natural time. This was just a sci-fi movie. But a kind of learning movie for us. And I know that we will not have to wait for that long to live in paradise as them, they had to struggle and walk that far to reach their goal.
We are at the pick of the New World " Paradise " which Mayans and other civilizations predicted for us, so we can make it to happen.
I gave blood for the first time on this day before I knew about this... everything about this day seemed significant and out of usual time... at the time though it was just a personal physical thing but knew it had to be more.

I really have trouble comprehending the concept of "we will all become one"..
Is it inevitable? Or will it be by a collective choice?
If it is a collective choice, then, will it be a choice born out of our principles? Or will it just be a choice born out of necessities?
If it will not be a collective choice, how will the "we are one" people interact with the "I am me, not you" people?
What is the point of unity when unity is forced?

Words can really be misleading, especially in this day and age where deception can easily pass itself as honesty and sincerity.
