We retimed the engine and pulled the hat off on the old Nova. Making more power so now it's hard to hook with them old hoosier's unless I'm in the right lane. Spinning the tires quite a bit and ran 8.63's. With a bigger intake, I could possibly make more power at the end of the track bringing it back down to 8.5.
@ddrlankyj i been wanting to run mine in the new 9.50 class mine runs 9.20's but the trac-loc is weak and it only wants to pull one wheel or it would be good in 9.0
probably so. the 10 second class usually has 10 or so cars in it, but beyond that there are only a handful of cars, but it still makes for a fun weekend

I only went out 2 weekends, but it would run in the high 9's. I ran 10 class since I wouldn't be able to compete in the 9.0 class

@jojoseg I haven't been back since George passed away. My new mustang runs low 9's though. Best time was 9.09

Is there any cars or stock classes that a bone stock 74 vega would be competitive with?
