you are right, cruelty to animals is bad.

that being said, i'm not sure whether putting a spider in a confined space for a short period of time is cruel. most spiders tend to live in nooks & crannys (like under rocks and stuff) most of the time.

but why didn't the guy put a fake rubber spider there instead of getting a real one? unless you plan to take care of it, don't buy a pet on the spur of the moment. Many animals end up abandoned as a result.

1) I contribute my part by feeding the birds, and giving them a drink of water, because they literaly have nothing to eat anymore.

2) I own two dogs whom i love and care. So they don't get put down, due to not having an owner!

3) I will soon be part of an animal rights group.

4) I also feed ants aswell, outside my house, and don't kill them like everyone else (with an insect spray)
