I think Paddy (singer/writer) has been in really bad health in recent years.

It's so sad coz this bands absolute class and his voice IMHO is uplifting through such painful lyrics.

i love this album. it is so complex and interesting. i fell in love to it (back in greenwich, london, in 1987)...

the girl in band (and her role in the band) is similiar to linda mcartney in 'wings' - although i don't think macca and wings ever wrote stuff as good as this classic...(obviously he did in the beatles - but that's not the same thing...)

This was released a second time before it became a hit.....it was not allowed to sing live on TOTP - New Order were one of the first bands to play live!
