  • bet it would work awesome with heavier snow like slush.

  • thats bad ass. just make sure not to bottom out. lol

  • Ok I want one now

  • As long as you stay on it, cause that would tear a big ass hole through your leg

  • you could tear some shit up with that

  • WTF thats like the ultimate sand mud snow tire. imagine if you ran over a muskrat with that thing. it would kill it then throw it

  • dam, that is one vicious lookin tire, thumbs up!!!

  • bad as@ but i had a kx250 and all i did was pull the tube and tie a thick poece of rope around it so it didnt spin and it walked thro snow alil past my frame and it wasnt no fluff

  • You could of done that all w/ normal motocross tires. Most people don't understand what the bikes can actually go through in the winter. Decent video man!

  • o you can make one up no prob if u could manage the tire you could manage a ski, one form a used sled shop is $40 or less then some old steel, welding and paint and it would look sick on your bike.

  • Nice but bro toss a ski under the front forks and u will go a bit faster ( flotation ).

  • Didn't have the money for one

  • Awesome video. Do you know how well the paddle tire runs in the snow without the studs? I don't think I'm ready to sacrifice my sand paddle yet....

  • @littlekroller no the spin force trows it out unless your going realy realy slow

  • GREAT IDEA!!! paddle for the snow, and if you hit ice, the screws come into play. way to be thinking bro!!

  • one word ouch

  • Haha...you find a studded paddle tire for sale like that and let me know. The metal straps are needed to brace the studs so they don't get ripped out.

The studs are snowmobile track studs. You drill a hole, push them through from the inside then tighten them down with a nut.

  • i never thought to put a brace between them. that is a good idea. i build those tires too!

  • @mynameislance1985 will the tires still hold air or do you have to tube it. i got some paddles on my banshee with skis on the front, but on the lake i just dig down to the ice and get stuck in the deep stuff.

  • all he did was buy a studed tire and then add sum pieces of strap metal to it

  • if you find a studed paddle tire like that let me know too

  • how do you stud the tire like that...........12,653th view

  • 12,345th view

  • Thats like the tire from hell, cool tho

  • awesom! but that tire is a hazard lol

  • keep your legs on the pegs with that beast of a tire

  • Nice. Don't let your leg get caught in that tire

  • what song is this?

  • all over by three days grace

  • ive got dis song on my xbox 360

  • Okay its a sick tire! But so will the wound be when a part of your body comes in contact with that sucker! We are running 1 1/2 inch bolts through every nobby and tack weld the nuts so they dont spin off.The nobbies help support the bolt...I also think that your setup is not only dangerous but also wont last long..Just my opinion and I commend you for the experiment and hope it works well for you ..If not try our setup as it will probley last you the winter....Good riding man

  • wouldnt it suck for the stud to come flying out and like hit the motor and put a big ol hole in it lol (worst case scenario) jk

  • Or it could fly into your body haha.

  • great video is that a cr 85

  • 125

  • i did this one my quad and it works great!

  • you inspired me, i bought a paddle tire that i'm gunna try in the snow, how deep was the snow you were riding in? and did you get more snow yet?, lol

  • good deal...word of advise, if you build the brackets for the studs, don't put in the middle one...make it look like this:

    \ /

    / \

the middle one will just bend and not let your studs return to upright. Also, have your tire pressure as low as possible, I actually run mine flat now (not by choice) but it works much better than when i had 20 psi in it.

I tried it in deeper snow and if you can get your speed up first and keep your front tire on top of the snow it works decent.

  • you should put a patent on that:D

  • HAHA more snow he says xD pritty sick, I like :D
