  • We coffee drinkers officially have the best theme song in the world.

  • @FourthDerivative hehehe what a sweet comment by you :)

  • Fuck. Yes. Just...FUCK...YES!!!

  • 1:10 me sacudio el cerebro xD

  • waaaaa no me explico!! porque todas las obras de bach son tan perfectas y bellas? asi sean misas, cantatas, pasiones, fugas etc etc etc...

  • Would you know who are the singers and the conductor of this version? Thanks for posting it.

  • @gilbertoagostinho Emma Kirkby, soprano. Rogers Covey-Crump, tenor. David Thomas, bass. The Academy of Ancient Music, Christopher Hogwood. (1987)

  • I like listening to this when drinking my coffeeeeee! :)

  • @unbreakablewishes :D also I do it sometimes!

  • Good for Relax time with Good Coffee

  • "How sweet coffee tastes

    Sweet as a thousand kisses

    ....Coffee, I must have coffee.

    ....Give me some coffee."

I could be wrong, but I think she likes coffee.

  • An enjoyable piece of fluff.

  • nice basso continuo in recitativo. I love basso continuo! This is real pleasure, when contrabasso double your left hand, and you play accords by right hand, looking at the numbers, such as: 6, 64, 7, 43, 2, et cetera...

  • How can somebody not like Emma Kirkby? Especially in this role, she is a perfect Liesgen, innocent and sweet (although Liesgen is not as innocent as she pretends to be...)

  • Is the soprano Magdalena Kozena?

  • no, she doesn't :( she is Emma Kirkby, for me emma is not a nice singer... I would like to listen to magdalena Kozena in this cantata (but kozena is mezzo-soprano ;) )

  • @Mozartharmony Don't be silly - Emma Kirkby is lovely!

  • This is the best version in all over the world!!! I can't stop listening it! Thanks Bach... We love you.

  • thanks for your nice comment)))) i remember Mozart with your nick!!

  • So, too good for its subject matter - Your taste and judgment must be superior to J.S. Bach's! Quite an accomplishment, I must say...

  • Hermozooo !!!

  • Here comes Mr. Schlendrian

    With his daughter Liesgen,

    He grumbles like a bear;

Hear for yourselves, what she has done to him!

  • Bach is a genius ^-^

and i love the cembalo....i wish i could play it *_*

  • i love the cembalo too :-D if you go to a baroque consert. after the consert you can just ask if you could take a closer look, and then ask to play it. i did it almost a week ago :-D my dream came true :-D

  • Bach was too grand for Operas, this is about as satirical his music could get.

  • @shariotoflove But Bach had to compose what was essentially a one act opera (cantata) every week for his church. He also wrote dozens of secular cantatas like this, many of which have been lost. This cantata was quite lighthearted and was designed to be performed in the local cofee house. It is still clever the way it portrays a frustrated father and a daughter who can wrap him round her little finger.

I don't know how anyone would dare limit what Bach might do with his music if he'd wanted to.

  • Heres lo maximo hasta pusiste la letra de la cancion muchas gracias sobre todo por que me gusta cantar

  • YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHH

    BACH RULES

  • Really a nice recording!

But cozld you tell by whom it is played? Thanks! ;-)

  • This is a version of Christopher Hogwood and The Academy of Ancient Music.

    I love this version.

  • thanks for posting the lyrics up :)

  • jeje thats truth

  • u huh
